A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 240 - Chocolate

The group have all now got to the very bottom of the Eiffel Tower, and are walking away from the towering structure, walking up the long grass noel, which leads away from the Eiffel Tower, where all those tourist picturesque photos are taken. Of course, because of this, the group can't help but take some of those photos too, a way to commemorate their time in Paris, and their trip to the Eiffel Tower, and today, in general. After all, for Sam and Alex, today is going to be a very special day for them, as they are going to be getting married today. They will remember the events of today for the rest of their lives, however long they may be.

"Hmmmmm..... It's just after 11 right now. What do you guys want to do next?" Lena asks, as she looks at the time on her watch.

"I don't know. What is there to do?" Sam asks.

"I would still like to go to the catacombs. I think that would be cool." Alex says.

"You want to see where dead people are buried? No thanks. I'll pass on that." Kara says, turning up her nose.

A few members of the group chuckle at Kara saying that.

"I'll go with you to the catacombs, mom." Ruby says.

"Really? You'd be interested in going to the catacombs, Rubes?" Sam asks, in a surprised voice.

"Yeah." Ruby nods, "I was reading that there is like a whole city of catacombs underneath Paris. I think that's really interesting."

"Okay. That's fair enough." Sam replies.

"Do you guys really want to split up though?" Alex asks.

"It's up to you two." Lena says, looking at Alex and Sam, "Today is your wedding day, so you get priority. If you don't want to split up, then we won't."

"I mean..... I know it's our wedding day, but I don't think we have to be attached at the hip or anything." Sam says, "Personally, I don't really want to go to the catacombs either. It kind of freaks me out. But I'm okay if Alex and Ruby want to go off and do that."

"I would like to join them too." Eliza says, speaking up.

"Yes. You're welcome to, mom." Alex says.

"Okay." Sam nods, "If that is sorted, then, what are we going to do while Alex, Ruby and Eliza do that?"

"Hmmmm...." Lena says, growing a thoughtful look on her face, "Well, there is one thing that we could do, that Kara, Alura and Morgan would probably be interested in. I haven't said it until now, because I didn't want them to go crazy over it."

"What is it?" Kara asks.

"There's a chocolate museu...." Lena begins.

"Yes!" Kara says, cutting Lena off.

Lena chuckles.

"You didn't even let me finish." Lena says.

"You were going to say there's a chocolate museum, right?" Kara says.

"Well.... yeah....." Lena says.

"See, I didn't even need to let you finish. We are soooo in sync." Kara says, a little sarcastically.

Lena chuckles.

"More like you just love anything to do with food, and can sense when someone is going to say something about food from like a mile away." Lena says, "In fact, food recognition pre-cognition, might just be one of your super powers."

Alex now laughs at Lena saying that.

"Now, that I can get behind, and totally think is believable!" Alex says, with a wide smile.
