A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 274

Kara, Lena and Nia have now just arrived back at Lena and Kara's home, and as they have driven up the driveway, towards the house, Nia's eyes have gone wide in awe. This is actually Nia's first time visiting Kara and Lena's new home, so she is completely amazed by what she sees, as it is truly a rich persons' home.

"Oh my god. This place.... looks incredible." Nia says, as they step out of the car.

"Thank you, Nia." Lena says.

"Just wait until you see the inside." Kara smirks.

"Oh, I already know that the inside is going to be just as incredible. You have an indoor and outdoor pool, right? And Lena has her secret lab bunker under the house?" Nia says.

Lena laughs at Nia saying that last bit.

"I wouldn't call it a secret lab bunker. That sounds a bit extreme." Lena says, with a slight smile.

"I don't know..." Kara says, "I kind of like the sound of it. Like, I can imagine myself saying 'hey Lee, are you going to go down to your bunker'?"

Nia chuckles at Kara saying that, while Lena simply rolls her eyes.

"Well, I already know, even before we step inside, that I'm totally going to need to spend more time here...... totally just to spend more time with Morgan and Alura..... not to use you for your house...." Nia says.

"Well, we are happy to have you whenever you like." Lena says, "I'm sure Alura and Morgan would be more than happy to spend more time with their aunt Nia."

"I think I'd like that too." Nia smiles, and also feels so good inside at the fact that Lena just referred to her as aunt Nia for Morgan and Alura, it feels like Nia maybe has lost some family in her mom and sister, (but hopefully not) and then gained some family in Kara, Lena, Morgan and Alura. Nia is very grateful to Kara and Lena for accepting her into their lives and home like they have done, and she absolutely adores Alura and Morgan.

Lena now opens up the door to the front of the house, with Lena, Kara and Nia all walking inside a few moments after. As they do, the trio hear the lovely sound of Morgan and Alura laughing, coming from the living room area of the house. So, Kara, Lena and Nia walk further into the house, and they actually see the sight of Morgan and Alura playing a game with Lillian and Elizabeth, with Alex and Ruby also sitting on one of the couches together. Ruby still looks sad, and is cuddled very close to Alex, but it seems to be a good sign that Ruby has come out of the room, and is sort of interacting with other people.

"Hello, my darlings." Lena smiles.

Morgan and Alura now turn to look at Lena, with their faces lighting up.

"Momma!" Alura says.

"Nia!" Morgan says.

Alura now goes running over to Kara and Lena, while Morgan goes running over to Nia.

Kara chuckles.

"I see how it is, Morgan, you'd prefer Nia over us." Kara smirks, while she and Lena take Alura in for a hug each, as Nia picks Morgan up into her arms and hugs her too.

"Noooo." Morgan says, as she cuddles Nia, "We haven't seen Nia in forever. I saw you and momma today."

"Hmmm.... I guess that's okay then." Kara says, as she strokes the top of Morgan's head, while Nia still carries the 4-year-old in her arms.

Alura now goes walking over to Nia, having already greeted her two moms.

"My turn. I want to hug Nia now, Morgan." Alura says.

Kara and Lena both chuckle at Alura saying that, and Kara takes Morgan from Nia's arms, allowing Nia to take Alura in for a hug now.

"Hello, baby." Kara whispers to Morgan, with the 4-year-old resting her head on one of Kara's shoulders.
