Now that Lena, Lillian and Winn have seen that the human blood that separates from Reign's blood post harun-el exposure does match Sam's blood, they know that there is only one thing left to do. There are no more tests that they can run. The only thing they can do now is put theory into practice, and try all this, that they have theorised as a potential way to save Sam, on Reign. However, before they can do that, Lena has a promise that she needs to keep. Lena has promised to get the final approval from Alex, and actually update her on the situation as soon as they have something, and this certainly qualifies as that. After all, Sam may be Lena's best friend, but she is Alex's wife, so of course Alex should get the final say on all this. So, Lena and Lillian are now making their way over to the medical bay, where they intend to tell Alex everything. While Lillian and Lena are doing this, Winn is making sure to check on a few things around the DEO, seeing as technically he is still in charge right now. Plus, Winn is also getting the equipment ready for them to be able to heat up harun-el, and turn it into a liquid, which will also require them to put the liquid harun-el into a very specific syringe, as if they were to use any normal syringe, it's like the heat of the liquid harun-el would just break the syringe container, or just cool the liquid harun-el down, so it turns back into a rock again. Obviously they don't want anything like that to happen. What they are about to do, they may only get one shot at, and as Reign continues to get more and more of her powers back, it will become a lot more difficult to actually inject the world killer with the harun-el, so the sooner they do this, the better.

As Lillian and Lena walk into the DEO medical bay, they see that Alex is still laying in her bed, with Alura sitting next to her. The two women seem to be in the middle of some sort of conversation, which is nice for Lena to see. Lena knows that it is very important, for Kara, for Alex and her birth mom to get on very well. So, for Kara's sake, Lena is really happy to see this. Lena just hopes that all of this can be over soon, so that Kara can get to see this in person, rather than being stuck in a room acting as Reign's warden.

"Hello you two." Lena says, with a small smile, "We have some news, we came in to give you an update Alex, and tell you what is going on."

"Oh..... okay....." Alex says, now growing a nervous look on her face, her expression changing completely from how she was looking when she was talking with Alura.

"I'll..... step aside, so you can have a moment alone with Alex." Alura soon says.

"No!" Alex quickly says.

Alura now looks back at Alex, with the redhead growing a blush on her face, clearly a bit embarrassed from how quickly she said that. It's clear that Alex has already formed some sort of bond with Alura, which is another nice thing to see for Lena.

"I mean..... could you please stay?" Alex asks, in a sincere voice.

Clearly Alex is asking this for the moral support and everything, which is understandable, as even though Lena doesn't know Alura that well yet, from what she has been able to witness, being in Alura's presence very much makes her feel at ease. Alura seems to give off this warm caring aura, making it seem like she is one of the kindest people ever. It makes Lena think that Alura is very much like Eliza in that regard, which really sheds a whole other light on Kara's relationship with Eliza, as it's clear Eliza gave off the same sort of aura is Alura, which the blonde really must have needed after thinking her mom was dead all those years ago.

"Of course I will stay, if you want me to." Alura says, with a warm look on her face.

"Thank you." Alex nods, shooting Alura a strained smile.

"Okay." Lena says, with a sigh, "So, I won't beat around the bush or anything. I will get straight to it. We think we have a solution now, as I mentioned earlier, Alex. However, again, I want to be clear, this is all in theory, and none of it can be a certainty or anything."
