A Leap of Faith (Part 2)

Chapter 261 - Uncovering Leviathan

It is now the following day, and Lena, Morgan and Alura are all just arriving at their future home. The reason that Kara is not with them is because she left earlier this morning so that she could be there for the delivery of all their furniture they will be assembling today, while also being able to give the three bedrooms a second coat of paint, all using her super powers, so it wouldn't take long. Kara and Lena thought that would be an ideal solution, as that way they wouldn't all need to get paint over them, and paint the rooms together again, they can just focus on actually moving the furniture into their new home, and assembling the new furniture that is being delivered.

As soon as Lena pulls up onto the driveway of their new home, she sees that clearly other people they have invited to come and help them today are already here, as there are a few other cars on the driveway. One of the cars that Lena recognises is Alex's car, meaning that she, Sam and Ruby are already at the house. Then there is also a van on the driveway, which J'onn was going to bring from the DEO, so that they can use it today to transport some of their furniture from the penthouse to this house. So, because the van is on the driveway, this means that Lena knows that Lillian, Elizabeth, and J'onn, are all here, as J'onn was going to pick up the two grandmas on the way from the DEO to the house.

"It looks like some people are already here, girls." Lena says, once she puts the car in park.

"Who?" Alura asks from the back seat.

"I can't be sure. But from the cars I'd imagine grandma Lillian and grandma Elizabeth are here, along with grandpa J'onn. Then, Alex, Sam and Ruby are also here too." Lena says.

"Oh, let's go see them! I want to show everyone my new room!" Alura says, excitedly.

Lena chuckles at Alura saying that.

"Alright. Let's hop out." Lena says.

Lena then gets out of the car and moves towards the back of the car, where she opens one door by Alura's side, to help Alura out of her car seat. Once Lena does this, Alura hops out of the car, and goes running towards the front door of the house, clearly eager to go see everyone. Lena then walks to the other side of the door, where she gets Morgan out of her car seat. Morgan though, for her part, just holds Lena's hand as they walk to the front door, rather than running off ahead like Alura.

"You okay, Morgan?" Lena asks her youngest daughter, as they walk to the front door.

"Yeah." Morgan says in a bit of a breathless voice, which very much sounds like Morgan is not okay.

"What's the matter, darling?" Lena asks, as she stops in place, and crouches down to Morgan's height, "You know you can tell me anything."

Morgan now grows a bit of a nervous look on her face, and bits her lip slightly.

"It's okay, darling. You can tell me." Lena says, with a smile, as she reaches out and touches one of Morgan's arms, giving it a loving squeeze.

"I.... I'm scared of living here." Morgan soon says.

"What? What do you mean you're scared?" Lena asks, with a confused look on her face.

"The.... the house is old..... and it's really big...... That's scary." Morgan explains.

"I see." Lena nods, "Well, you know that you'll never have to go anywhere alone in this house, if you are uncomfortable. And I think the more you experience our new home, you'll come to realise that it's not scary at all. You'll see it's a home that is going to be full of so much love, and all the adventures you and Alura can get up to our in our garden. I think you will really love it here, darling. But, until you no longer find it scary, you can stay by my side, okay?"
