Request – What if Kayce says enough of sleeping over and just move in with me so Y/N does and Kayce is so excited he carried her to bed helps her move all her stuff in the closet the bathroom ect and later that night they're watching a movie and she catches Kayce staring at her and he says he'll never get tired of seeing her everyday?

You could feel Kayce's eyes on you as you put a few more items into your bag. You were staying with him on the ranch over the four-day weekend and so you needed more than just your overnight typical bag.

"If you have something to say, just say it," You giggled as you walked back into your bedroom from the bathroom.

"We're just late, baby," Kayce sighed.

"I needed some more things," You sat the bag down on the bed and slipped on your boots. "Sorry, but I knew my shampoo at your place was almost out and I wasn't sure if I had another pair of jeans there or not."

You stood up as Kayce reached down and picked up your bag. The two of you made your way out of your apartment and down to Kayce's truck. The drive out to the ranch was relaxing as the homes gave way to rolling pastures and hills, the mountain range standing tall in the distance. You felt the stress of the week slip away from your shoulders the closer you got, a small smile on your face.

"What're you smiling for," Kayce asked from the driver's seat.

"Just happy to get away for the weekend," You shrugged. "Been a long week."

Kayce reached over and placed his hand on your thigh as he took the next exit from the highway.

"Glad you feel that way about my home," Kayce mumbled.

"Oh no!" You sat up suddenly.

"What?" Kaye asked as he drove under the Yellowstone sign.

"I forgot my riding jacket," You looked at him.

"Baby," Kayce sighed.

"Can we just go back?" You asked. "I don't want to have to borrow Beth's or something...I do that all the time."

"We're already late for supper," Kayce seemed irritated, and you couldn't blame him.

You leaned back in your seat and sighed. This was the problem with Kayce living almost an hour from your apartment in town. If something was forgotten, it almost seemed ridiculous to go back for it to then turn back around...three hours were insane.

"Beth's gonna make some smug comment again," You mumbled as Kayce pulled up to the main house.

"You know how this could be solved, right?" Kayce asked as you both got out of his truck.

"How's that?" You waited for him to walk up next to you, your bag in his hand.

"You could just move in with me," Kayce walked forward but you stopped.

Did he just ask you to move in with him?

You stood there, watching him almost make it to the stairs before realizing that you weren't following him. Kayce turned back and looked at you. He had a content smile on his face as he looked at your confused one.

"I didn't stutter," Kayce smirked.

"Kayce..." You slowly walked up to where he was standing.

"While I love our sleepovers, as you call them," Kayce rolled his eyes. "The thought of not having to drive an hour to see you is really appealing."

"Is that the only reason?" You smirked.

"Well, taking showers with you every morning is nice too," Kayce reached up and cupped your cheek. "Eating every meal with you...going on rides with you...falling asleep with you every night...I could keep going?"

"That all sounds lovely," You smiled.

"But?" Kayce stepped closer to you.

"Are you sure?" You asked. "You want this?"

"I want you," Kayce said. "I think after two years of putting you through my family, this might be the easiest decision I've ever made."

"Those old blue sheets will have to go," You giggled.

"You love my sheets," Kayce rolled his eyes.

"No...you love your sheets," You pushed his shoulders lightly. "And maybe a little more...color in the home?"

"Is that you condescendingly saying yes?" Kayce raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," You didn't have enough time to move before Kayce bent down and threw you over his shoulder. "Kayce!"

Kayce walked you down to the foreman's cabin he had been in for a few years. Kicking the door with his foot closed, he dropped you down on the couch, tossing your bag next to you and unzipping it. He grabbed your bathroom items and walked over into the bedroom. You could hear him rummaging around before he appeared again.

"What are you doing?" You laughed. "Thought we were late for supper?"

"I'm putting your shirts in the middle drawer," Kayce said, grabbing the few you packed and heading back into the bedroom.

"Kayce?" You stood up as he walked back in.

When he reached for your bag again, you grabbed his hands. Kayce looked over at you and you saw just how happy he was. Your heart soared with the mere thought that you saying yes to him did this.

"Just moving you in," He shrugged.

"I've got more than this, babe," You wrapped your arms around his middle. "But I love seeing you this excited."

Kayce pulled you closer, smiling down at you.

"But we need to get to supper," You laughed. "Come on, cowboy."

Later that night you were snuggled up with Kayce on the couch in the foreman's cabin. You could feel his eyes on you again, so you looked up at him.

"Can I help you?" You giggled.

"Just like looking at you," Kayce mumbled.

"Well get used to that," You rolled your eyes. "You're about to see me all the time."

"I'd never get tired of seeing you every day," Kayce ran his fingers through your hair.

You felt your cheeks warm up as you turned around and lay against him on the couch. Your lips close to his you sighed contently.

"I love you," You whispered.

"Love you, baby," Kayce kissed you sweetly.
