Request - Can we get one where Kayce takes the reader to a football game? He's like, really into it and tried to teach her things and she just finds him adorable? Thank you!!

Author's Note - Upon some research, the most popular football team for Montana is the Minnesota Vikings...which I know nothing about so please be nice LOL - Extra points for you as a reader if you can tell me the reason I chose the other NFL team ;)

Seeing Kayce in a large city was almost comical to you as you held onto his hand and walked down the sidewalk. He was your rough and tough cowboy, a lover of the outdoors and getting his hands dirty. Tall skyscrapers and traffic congestion, mixed with the large crowds...just wasn't doing it for you with Kayce leading you down the street.

But you had made a promise to him that for his birthday, you would figure out a way for the two of you to go to a Minnesota Vikings game. So here you were, on a brisk October afternoon, becoming one with the crowd headed for the stadium. You passed another building with mirrors and glanced at yourself.

The purple hat on your head made you feel like a grape, but when you had put it on in the hotel room earlier, Kayce's eyes lit up, making your heart melt and vow to not take it off until you got back later this evening. Kayce's jersey was basically covered up by his coat, as was the long-sleeved shirt he bought you to wear.

But soon you two were just one of thousands walking into the stadium. Your grip on Kayce's hand tightened as he showed your tickets to the man at the gate and then maneuvered his way through the crowd. It was Kayce's thirty-fifth birthday, so your seats were prime. Walking down toward the field, you were right on the forty-yard line, second row...whatever that meant.

From the looks of it, it meant Kayce was about to live out his fantasy. The whole way there he hadn't shut up. You tuned him out for the most part, your feet trying to keep up with him, but honestly, it was because you didn't know much about this team.

Your family hadn't been a big football family, more baseball and hockey. The few times you had watched a game with Kayce, you were tucked against his side and usually fell asleep next to him. But with the glass ceilings letting the sunlight in, and the crowd buzzing, there was no way you'd be falling asleep.

"...Cousins wasn't going to but he pulled through," Kayce said and you focused back on him.

"What?" You smiled at your boyfriend.

"How much did you miss?" Kayce asked you.

"Uh..." You felt yourself blush. "Baby, I'm so happy that you're happy."

"I am happy," Kayce wrapped his arm around your shoulders. "Thank you again for this."

"You're worth it," You pressed a kiss to Kayce's cheek. "So...these seats are good?"

"These seats are great, baby," Kayce laughed at how you weren't sure. "These are...I don't even want to know what you paid for them."

"John may have helped me," You shrugged.

"Dad?" Kayce looked like he didn't believe you.

"Let's say an ultimatum was given he couldn't refuse," You winked.

"I don't wanna know," Kayce laughed. "You wanna beer?"

"Yes," You nodded. "Oh, do they have hotdogs?"

"I'm sure," Kayce stood up.

"Or a corn dog?" You asked, thinking. "Maybe a pretzel? Or nachos?"

"I have two arms, Y/N," Kayce held up his hands.
