Request - Y/n loves to read and one of her (many) favorite types of books to read are romance with smut. Kayce loves how she gets lost in her reading and notices her being flustered while reading a certain book. He asks her one day what she's reading and she downplays it as just a romance. Kayce sees right through her, but leaves it as that. Few days later, Kayce finds that particular book, skims through it, and becomes flustered himself. Kayce decides to tease Y/n and suggests they recreate those scenes from that book.

You felt the pillow almost before you saw the pillow. Reaching up, you pulled the couch pillow down, sending a glare over to your boyfriend. Kayce was sitting in one of the armchairs next to you. It was late in the evening and he had come home from work a little while ago. You had made him a plate of leftovers and while he was eating it, you retired back to the couch and your book.

You loved romance novels...and the past three books you had read, there seemed to be a big emphasis on the 'romance' part of these books. You weren't necessarily lacking in that department, your sex life with Kayce was way above average and better than your previous relationships. But these were stories...they were exaggerated and you loved every line so far in it.

"What're you reading?" Kayce asked you.

"A book," You placed the pillow next to you.

"I get that genius," Kayce rolled his eyes. "What is the book about?"

"It's uh..." You glanced down at the page you were on and felt yourself get a little warm. "Just a girly romance one."

"Girly romance?" Kayce asked.

"Yeah," You nodded. "You'd hate it."

"Is that why you're blushing?" Kayce smirked.

"I'm not blushing," You glared but felt your cheeks get warmer.

"Alright, babe," Kayce snickered but stood up, walking over to pour himself a whiskey.

He raised an eyebrow at you as he walked out of the room to leave you be. You huffed, settling back in your seat and looking down at your book again.

The next thing I could feel was his body pressed against mine...and I could feel all of him. My lavender shampoo clouding your senses.

You cleared your throat. So, maybe Kayce was right and you were a little flustered.

**

You walked up the stairs, searching for Kayce. John was waiting downstairs for both of you to head into town for supper. You quietly walked over to the bedroom and peeked inside. Your eyes found Kayce sitting on the edge of the bed, looking down at your book.

You immediately get flustered again, knowing the exact words Kayce was probably reading right now. You bit your lip as you watched Kayce's eyes move across the page. He looked slightly confused until you saw his eyes widen.

Shit, you thought.

You watched Kayce shut the book and read the back cover of it quickly. He cleared his throat, setting the book back down on the bed and pulling his boots on. His cheeks were slightly pink, making you even more embarrassed to know he now knew what you had been reading.

You slowly stepped back a few feet and then made sure to stomp louder than necessary to make Kayce hear you. You walked into the bedroom and prayed you looked like you hadn't seen him with your book.

"Hey," You said, noting that your voice was slightly high. "Your dad's waiting for us."

"Sorry," Kayce stood up and walked over to you.

He stopped next to you but didn't say anything.

"You okay?" You asked him.

"Yeah...you?" Kayce asked.

"I'm fine?" You glanced him up and down.

Kayce held his arm out as if to say you go first. You stepped once and looked over your shoulder at him. He was watching you closely. While it was strange, you didn't want to ask so you took another step.

SMACK

"Kayce!" You filled around.

He looked at you almost innocently. Your hands held your ass, right where he has just spanked you...hard. Kayce was handsy, especially with you, but you weren't sure he'd ever done that to you before.

"Let's go," Kayce smirked at you.

"W-what was that?" You asked softly.

"What?" Kayce stepped around you and walked out of the room.

You followed him quickly, tugging on his arm before he reached the stairs.

"Wait-"

Kayce cut you off, pushing you back against the wall and pressing himself against you. You gasped in surprise as Kayce leaned his lips down close to yours. You were breathing hard as you felt his hands hold your waist.

"Kayce?" Your voice was just above a whisper.

Kayce's eyes danced across your face.

"Kayce!" John hollered from somewhere downstairs, probably growing annoyed by the second.

"W-We should go..." You cleared your throat.

"Or I could just have you for dinner?" Kayce tilted his head to the side.

It was your turn to widen your eyes. Did he really just say that to you? Kayce leaned his lips close to your ear and breathed in deeply. His fingers ran up your sides, under your shirt.

"Fuck, you smell good," He practically groaned into your ear. "Like lavender."

Using the last of your senses, your hands held his against your skin, stopping them right under your bra. Kayce pulled back and this time there was a smirk on his lips and a twinkle in his eyes. Your eyes narrowed, finally seeing right through him.

"You ass!" You pushed back against him.

Kayce was laughing now, holding his chest with his hands.

"I can't believe you!" You smacked him again and pushed past him.

"Babe, come on!" Kayce trailed after you.

You got to the bottom of the stairs and spun. around to glare at Kayce.

"It's not funny!" You told him. "So I like those books? So what?"

"I'm not saying you liking those books is funny," Kayce smiled at you.

"What's with the teasing then?" You frowned.

Kayce walked over and wrapped you into his arms.

"Did you not like it?" He asked. "It's what that guy did in the book? thought that's what you'd like?"

"I...well," You stuttered. "I-It was f-fine, I guess."

"You guess?" Kayce tilted his head. "Something else in the book you'd like more?"

"More?" You repeated, your eyes searching his for a few seconds. "How much did you read?"

"Not much," Kayce shrugged. "But there were some interesting things I did read."

"Really? Like what?" You asked.

Kayce let go of you and laced his fingers through one of your hands as you both walked over to the kitchen where John was waiting still.

"Guess we'll find out tonight," Kayce told you.

"You're making me go to dinner with your father after telling me that?" You whispered to him.

Kayce looked over his shoulder at you and winked. You were in for a long meal knowing Kayce.
