Request- it's the Reader's and Kayce's first anniversary and the reader is pregnant and goes into labor on their anniversary.
You tried to find a comfortable position on the couch. Your swollen belly was almost unbearable now. You tried to rub soothing circles over it as you sighed.
"Ugh..." You groaned, glaring at your stomach. "Get out...get out...GET OUT!"
"Baby..." Kayce walked over with a smile on his lips. "She'll come when she's ready."
"Well, her momma is ready," You whined as you leaned your head back.
You felt Kayce's warm hands hold your stomach as he kneeled in front of you. He pressed his lips over your shirt and chuckled.
"You cook as long as you need, darlin'," Kayce told your belly, making you roll your eyes and swoon at the same time.
"So much for our first anniversary being sexy," You sighed. "Sorry, babe."
"What's more sexy than this?" Kayce asked you, his eyes shining.
"We didn't really plan this out very well, did we?" You asked him, running your fingers through his hair.
"Kind of thought it'd be like this though," Kayce shrugged. "Think our first month we didn't really leave the bed."
You giggled but stopped suddenly when a sharp pain shot through your side. You pressed your hand to your side, wincing as another shot of pain went through you.
"What's wrong?" Kayce asked you.
"I don't know," You shook your head, trying to take a breath but felt another jab. "Ah!"
"Y/N," Kayce stood up but kept his hands on your arms.
You waited for a second.
"Maybe it was something I ate-ah!" You leaned over some, the pain shooting through your back now.
It was then you felt a warm sensation between your legs. Your legs left like they were tingling too when it dawned on you what had happened.
"Kayce?" You looked up at him.
"What, baby?" Kayce leaned his face close to yours.
"My water just broke."

It was quiet in the delivery room. You glanced over at the clock and saw it was ten minutes until midnight. The small bundle in your arms was asleep, your new daughter finally quieted down after her feeding.
Kayce walked back into the room and shut the door behind him.
"This was all I could find," He held up some ice cream.
"I'll take it," You smiled.
The two of you had not been able to have dinner and were starving. Kayce sat next to you on the bed and opened one of the containers. She scooped a spoonful out and looked over at you. He held out the bite for you to take.
Leaning in you hummed at the cold treat, your stomach thanking you for something after all this time. Kayce took a bite of the ice cream and kicked his feet up on the bed, mimicking you. He traded off feeding you and taking a bite for himself until the small container was empty.
"Still snoozing?" Kayce asked, looking at his daughter.
"Wanna hold her?" You asked him.
"Yes," Kayce gently took her from your arms and tucked her under his chin, against his chest.
You smiled, leaning your head against his shoulder as you both watched your daughter sleep. She cooed some, wiggling closer to Kayce and taking your breath away all over again.
"Thank you," Kayce mumbled, his lips pressed against her tiny pink hat.
"Thank me? For what?," You giggled.
"For giving me the best anniversary gift," Kayce smiled at you.
You leaned in and kissed his lips.
"It'll be easy to remember this date," You smiled at him.
"I remember dates just fine," Kayce rolled his eyes.
"Oh yeah?" You asked him. "When's Beth's birthday?"
"Sometime before yours," Kayce answered.
"Lucky guess," You laughed. "My birthday is in November."
"Which means I'm right in saying it's sometime before that in the year," Kayce winked at you.
You shook your head, growing tired from giving birth a few hours ago. You snuggled down into the bed, curling around Kayce. He pressed his lips to your forehead as you took a deep breath.
"Feeling okay?" He asked you, being serious now.
"I'm okay," You nodded. "Feel a bit...empty, but I know this is so much better now."
"You did good, Momma," Kayce pressed another kiss to your forehead. "I'm proud of you."
"Thanks for doing this with me," You gave Kayce a tired smile.
"Good to sleep," Kayce nodded at you. "I've got her."
"I love you," You closed your eyes and leaned against Kayce.
"Love you two most," Kayce whispered as you fell asleep.
