Request - Haven't requested in a minute, but would love to see something along the lines of y/n saving Kacey in some way and getting hurt in the process and really shows Kacey emotional side.

"I'm sorry," You said over the rain.

Kayce whirled around, making you have to almost jump back. His eyes were upset, jawline tense as you saw water droplets slip down his face.

"You've said that ten times," Kayce snapped.

"And I still am," You sighed.

"Stop saying sorry, Y/N," Kayce turned back and continued on.

You followed him, slipping on the mud from the rain. When you tried to regain your footing, your other leg slipped by Kayce's arm shot out, and grabbed yours.

"Y/N!" He yelled.

"It's slippery!" You argued back.

"Alright," Kayce let you go. "Try not to fucking kill yourself, please."

You glared at him as he turned back around. Three hours ago, the two of you had been enjoying a lovely afternoon in the meadow. But a storm blew in and the rain pelted you before you could get on your horse. Lighting spook him and he took off up the hills. You and Kayce had spent the last ten minutes trying to find him.

The trees started to clear slightly to your left and you saw the edge of one of the smaller gorges. You leaned over but couldn't see the ground below due to. the distance and rain falling. Pulling back up you saw Kayce was a bit ahead of you now and hurried to catch up to him.

"Kayce!" You called out, stepping over a rock.

"Y/N, I fucking swear,"  Kayce turned but stepped his left foot back too far.

You saw him flail his arms so you stepped forward and grabbed onto him, pulling him harshly.  Your body moved forward so Kayce's could move back. It worked, Kayce stumbling away from the ledge. However, your foot stepped down and the rock crumbed with the mud. You slipped, hitting your hip bone before you went over the edge.

"Y/N!" Kayce called out.

You tried to grab onto something. Your fingers held onto a tree root but it only broke your fall some. You ended up hitting another ledge, and your wrist snapped as the landing knocked the wind out of you.

There was a ringing in your ears. Opening your eyes, all you saw was the gray rain falling straight ahead.  You turned your head and could see up. Kayce was leaning over the edge from where you had just been standing. The ringing in your ears dimmed and you could hear him shouting.

"Y/N!" Kayce yelled. "Baby! Can you hear me? Y/N!"

You tried to speak but only coughed.

"Y/N!" Kayce called again.

The rain was hitting your face so you turned back again. The movement tugged at your wrist though and you cried out in pain.

"Ah!" You brought your other hand up quickly to hold your wrist against your chest.

"Y/N!" Kayce's voice floated through your ears.

Opening your eyes, you felt the raindroplets mix with tears against your cheek. The searing pain in your arm almost made you pass out. Taking a few deep breaths, you opened your eyes and looked up at Kayce. Your movement seemed to register with him that you were conscious.

"Y/N!" Kayce called down. "I need you to not move! Stay right there...I've got to go find a rope!"

"The fuck would I go?" You finally found your voice.
