The very first thumps of BoneyM's 'Daddy Cool' make James Potter want to vomit, that is how many times he's been subjected to it in recent months.

Sirius had played it far too much, it had made him and Remus laugh; ergo, it became a ritual to play it every single time James walked into a room.

But what his two adoring friends didn't know is that James spent many nights physically sick as Regulus slept, thinking of how on earth he was going to raise a child. He knew he couldn't leave. He could never do that to Regulus or the little one. He loves Regulus.

And through their love, they had created a new little life. They hadn't planned for a baby, they've only been together for a little over two years, and neither seemed to embrace it all that much. James was violently sick in the privacy that four in the morning had offered him coldly and Regulus was avoiding his food out of stress of becoming exactly like the people who had raises him.

It had been a nightmare.

But eventually, they confided in one another and neither could fathom that the other had gone so long suffering through their fears alone.

James Potter used to feel queasy at a mere humming of 'Daddy Cool'.

But not right now. Right now, his stomach is steady and he doesn't feel nauseous at the idea of that rhythm playing loudly over the muggle radio.

At first, the mere idea of becoming the father to such a small being terrified him, but right now; as Regulus pulls his wrists and tugs him closer with the music playing and an old T-shirt stretched over his bump, James feels okay. He feels secure and ready.

James let's his hands fall to rest against his boyfriend's hips. He tightens his grip on Regulus, stealing a kiss to his forehead before humming along. "She's crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool," James laughs. "She's crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool,"

Regulus giggles softly, feeling James' long fingers stroke over the curve of his belly. He fondly rolls his eyes before softly singing the next lyric with a grace that both Black brothers seem to posses in their sweet singing voices. "I'm crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool."

James chuckles as he gently dips Regulus, remaining mindful of his swollen abdomen. "Daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool," James repeats softly.

"She's crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool, I'm crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool," Regulus grins cheesily, wrapping his long, thin arms around James' neck.

"Daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool," James sings.

"She's crazy about her daddy, oh she believes in him, she loves her daddy," James doesn't miss the way Regulus gently unwraps one arms from around James' neck so that he can place James' palms firmly and flatly against his bump.

"She's crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool, I'm crazy like a fool, what about it Daddy Cool," James smiles wildly. "Daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool, daddy, Daddy Cool," He grins as he presses his lips to Regulus', smiling into the kiss as he feels Regulus deepen in hungrily.

Regulus pulls away, his lips swollen and red, all the blood having rushed to them as soon as they had collided with James' lips. "I love you," He whispers softly.

James breaks out in a wide grin. "I love you too, little mama,"

Regulus rolls his grey eyes, scoffing softly. "Shut up, Daddy Cool." He smirks, cringing slightly at the nickname he had given his boyfriend. He kisses James once more before murmuring, "God, we're having a baby," He feels James gently squeeze his hips.

"Yeah," James breaths, feeling the least nauseated he's felt in weeks. "We sure as hell are,"
