They don't tell Sirius for a very, very long time. Remus is still ignoring his boyfriend's attempts at pitiful and apologetic conversation and while everything is still abnormal, James takes that as a justified reason not to tell Sirius. Alternatively, James may just be waiting for the right moment to murder Sirius with the truth of what he had done.

James is still angry at Sirius. But not exclusively for hurting Remus so devastatingly. Because of Sirius' poor taste of actions, James has to prepare himself for fatherhood. Should Sirius have it tampered with Remus so harshly, and in a sense, tampered with his own youngrr brother so harshly, James and Regulus may not have created their baby. The fear and worry they James feels surrounding his baby can only be blamed on Sirius alone.

Eventually, Regulus can not hide it anymore. His glamour spells fail and he is sporting a small, four month bump, of which none of the other students at Hogwarts dare to comment on. Regulus' pregnancy may as well be invisible. This is when James truly understands, and even half admires, that Regulus Black holds far more credibility than his older brother has ever given him respect for.

Slowly, but surely, and not unnoticedly, Regulus, as a person, actually begins to grow on James.

"My brother's pregnant," Sirius says in the quietness that their dormitory has uncharacteristically become accustomed to. Maybe Sirius had been hoping to shock them all into speaking again.

Neither James, nor Peter, or Remus reply for a few seconds. Peter, however, clears his throat. "Yeah, so I heard," He responds. "A fifth year Ravenclaw mentioned it to me, says her friend's in his dorm and he's been throwing up for months," He adds.

Sirius just hums, rather quietly. "Didn't even know he was seeing anyone,"

James' head snaps up at this. Regulus isn't seeing anyone. James isn't seeing Regulus, nor is Regulus seeing him. They are merely, well, merely extracting revenge of a sort. He swallows before speaking. "Well, how would you know if he were or weren't seeing anyone?" He rises. "S'not like you give much of a shit about him, is it?" He snaps. "God, no, Sirius Black doesn't care about anyone,"

Sirius scoffs. "Considering you haven't spoken directly to me in weeks, and none of you seem to give a shit about me, I don't think you should be talking, Prongs,"

"Who says we don't give a shit about you?" James argues hastily. His blood boiling, his anger bubbling beneath his skin. "We obviously just give more of a shit about Moony, so don't start with that bullshit," He swears.

"And what about me? What about how I'm coping with all of this? My own boyfriend hasn't spoken to me in months,"

"And whose fault is that, Padfoot?" Peter snaps.

Remus, surprisingly, clears his throat. "You...you wouldn't have to cope with any of this if you hadn't caused it, y'know," His voice is scratchy, probably from lack of use, and he hides his face behind a novel. But James knows that his features are distorted from the heartbreaking agony of the entire ordeal.

Sirius moves to sit next to Remus. "You...you have to know that I love you, Remus. You...you have to know that, sweetheart,"

Peter scoffs softly, glancing at James. "Sirius, give it a fucking break, my God," He snaps. "Just leave him alone. He doesn't want to speak to you,"

"Moony's made it clear enough that he doesn't want to talk to you," James agrees in a snarl, standing up now. "Wormys right. Just...just leave him be," He says. "You don't love him half as much as you claim to, anyways," He adds hesitently.
