202. Part VI: Awaken nightmare

As Addy was leaving the prince of the Phoenix clan's chamber, North began to say something. Though, he did not mean to eavesdrop on the princes' conversation, it could not be helped as he was an earshot away.

"Helios," North began to say. "That ornamental band you had on your left wrist illuminated when you were about to lose control earlier."

This made Addy stopped on his track and turned around.

"I don't know." Helios replied. "However, I felt this band tighten around my wrists, though."

"I think that band is trying to keep the Star Child at bay." Addy interjected. "If you don't mind, can you lend it to me for a while?"

"Sure." Helios responded as he took hold of the band with his right hand. He tried to pull it out, however, the ornamental band seemed to tighten around his wrist. "It would not come off."

"Really?" Addy said. "Wait here, I will be right back."

Addy went out of the chamber and it took a few minutes before he returned to Helios' chamber. While he was away, Helios and North continued their conversation.

"Helios, who gave you that band?" North asked.

"This was given to me by my father during my 555th birthday." Helios replied.

"I see."

Helios remained silent for a couple of silent before he spoke again.

"I think, this band can help us find the Kentauros."

"What?!" North replied. "What makes you say that?"

"I remember when my father gave it to me, there was something etched at the back of this band. If I recall it correctly, it is the marking of the Kentauros, Grime Hullo, that my father described in my dream."

North stood from his chair and walked towards the chamber's door.

"Addy," North shouted. "Come quick!"

Addy did not come, thus, North yelled again to call him.
