"Do you have anything?" Thorn asked his apprentice Sacha.
"My lord still nothing." Sacha replied meekly.
"It's been a week and still you have not yet gotten the information from the human." Thorn said annoyingly.
"My lord, you know we could not apply more pressure on his brain or else it would fry, and we won't be able to obtain the information that we need." Sacha paused. "The magic used to erase his memory is too powerful and we have to peel it carefully."
"Fine!" Thorn said impatiently. "You have three days to exactly find out what he knows or suffer my wrath."
"I understand, my lord." Sacha said before he left the room.
In a dilapidated building somewhere in downtown, the basement door opened. Sacha was greeting Gaelic who was guarding their prisoner.
"Has the prisoner said anything valuable that we can use?"
"Nothing. This military man is well trained and just keep on saying his name, random numbers and position in the army and nothing else. I am already at end of my patience with this human. I don't think he knows anything. Why are we wasting our time on this jerk?"
"Lord Thorn is convinced that Captain Santiago knows a lot but the power magic that is warding his memory keeps him from remembering what happened in the village."
"I think this is all nothing but a waste of time." Gaelic complained.
"Do you really?" Sacha questioned Gaelic. "Are you willing to say that to Lord Thorn?"
Gaelic knew that Sacha was right. He could not risk on getting on the bad of side of the illegitimate prince of the Vatr clan as he had already disappointed his master previously when he failed to capture the Kentauros in the village.
"So, are you?" Sacha pressed on.
"Shit!" Gaelic kicked a can on the ground and walked out of the basement.
