The prince of the Vatr clan motioned off from his seat and just as he was about to speak, the Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan raised his left hand palm facing at North gesturing him to wait. The prince of the Vatr clan understood what the Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan was trying to convey to him. He stood erect and waited as his eyes intently followed the strange visitors as they entered the Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan's chamber.
"Please do tell," North began to whisper as he walked near the Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan. "Who are they? And, who's authority, do you weigh to give those strangers refuge in our safe place?"
"I beg your pardon," The Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan responded with lividity.
"Who gives you the right to bring strays in this place and risks dooming us all?" North retorted.
"His highness, the king of the Phoenix clan." The Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan said with authority.
"Preposterous?!" The prince of the Vatr clan said as his voice became a bit louder. "Your impiety is something that may be deemed as treason. How can speak of such thing and use the good king's name in vain?!"
"My dear prince," The Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan started to lose his patience for the insinuation of the prince of the Vatr clan. "Be wary with your words, lest, you might say something that you may never able to take back."
"What's going on here?" The High General of the Forest clan asked as he stepped out of his chamber. "Why are you two arguing in this unholy hour?"
"The Grand Magus has brought strangers in our midst." The prince of the Vatr clan reported.
"You what?!" The High General of the Forest clan questioned the Grand Magus of the Aeolian clan.
