So I have this teacher.
I've probably ranted about her before, but her name is Mrs Doucette.
Now I used to like her as a teacher. She was sarcastic and funny and would jokingly pick on people and all that.
But this year she's terrible.
According to both of my brothers, who had her when they were younger, she's always harsh on the 8th graders, but I'm pretty sure she absolutely hates my class.
Just about every time we go to her class, she starts yelling at us.
Sometimes I don't even understand why.
The other day she was like "Now, you all knew that this was supposed to be typed and handed in yesterday, right? It wasn't a draft. I specifically told you it had to be typed and sent to me on Google Docs."
And she had assigned this little essay about two days before, when she had specifically told us "This is to be handwritten. It's your draft. Blah blah blah."
LIKE EVERYONE HAD IT WRITTEN DOWN THAT IT WAS A FUCKING DRAFT YOU BITCH
And she's always saying stuff about how high schools won't tolerate the stuff we do in class and shit.
WHEN I SHADOWED AT THE SCHOOL IM GOING TO NEXT YEAR IT WAS EXACTLY LIKE HER CLASS BUT WITH LESS YELLING
Who do you think knows better: a teacher who had her children go to high school back in the late 1900s, or a kid who took a day to follow a freshman around a modern high school campus?
She's always scolding us on our writing and how none of us can spell and shit and the whole time she's saying this stuff I just think "yeah well, I have over 5,000 reads on a book that I wrote online so fuck you"
