Cat is back.
I have sooo much to say right now.
So tonight was the last performance of the play. That's right, it's finally over!
There were a fuck ton of tears tonight.
I sang my heart out, though, and I got applause for my solo before the song was even over.
I've never been so happy in my life.
So there was a cast party afterwards were we got the leftover food from the concessions stand and there was cake and soda and music and shit. Everything was insane.
Then my friend came over and told me something that had just happened.
So this guy who graduated last year brought her to the second floor of the school to talk to her alone. Another girl followed them to make sure everything was okay....
So apparently this guy tried to kiss her. She rejected him, then he tried to force her into kissing him.
Thank god this other girl came in at that exact moment.
I know this sort of thing is a hugely sore topic on this account, and I was absolutely terrified for her. He tried to make moves on her last year, too, and they dated for like 2 weeks, but she never let him kiss her or anything.
This girl is only 2 days older than me. I find it so scary that this happened to her. It's just wrong.
Anyway, after the cast party, some of us 8th graders decided to go to TGI Fridays, since it was our last time being together after a play.
At that point, it was like 11 pm.
So it was a huge rush of carpooling plans and money exchanges and shit and then we got there and our waiter treated us like we were all, like, 9.
"If you could just be quiet for 2 minutes, please."
Excuse me, you're not my fucking teacher.
And he called my friend "sweetie" at one point and it was really weird.
Anyway, the whole thing basically consisted of weird stories about lightning storms, pretending to stab each other, and me downing a packet of artificial sugar.
Now it's 1:30 in the morning and I'm still awake for some reason.
I should go to sleep. I promise I'll try to be on here more now, I love you guys and I missed you for the few days I was gone.
:)
