it's cat yet again bc I don't feel like sleeping quite yet and I just remembered something that happened earlier.
So I was in science class today (btw we had double period science, so it was twice as long. this will be important later I think) and my teacher decided that we were going to learn to use Bunsen burners (hence the title of this rant, BB)
Now I'm pretty sure we should have actually learned to use these quite a while ago since we're in 8th grade and the oldest in the school bUT NOT WITH MRS ROBINSON NOPE NOPE NOPE
though I honestly can't blame her for not trusting us, because my lab partner, this guy named David, was playing with the flint-sparky-lighty-thing like the entire time.
So she was going over safety and stuff and she was like "and all the girls will have to put their hair up when we use these (btw we didn't actually end up using them we just learned how to set them up)" and for some reason everyone in the class looks at me
And I'm like WTF GUYS
then I realized I'm one of 3 girls in my class who actually didn't have their hair in any sort of ponytail or braid or anything.
But I have a reason for this: I look fucking terrible when my hair is in a ponytail. I have these annoying little baby hairs that ALWAYS stick out on the sides of my head, plus my head ends up looking too small for my body
So we never ended up using these things after talking about them for 80 MINUTES STRAIGHT ALONG WIGH WATCHING TWO WEIRD VIDEOS AND IN ONE OF THEM THIS LADY KEPT GOING "WAIT" AND HOLDING OUT HER HAND AND WHEN SHE SAID "FIRST OF ALL" SHE HELD UP TWO FINGERS LIKE WTF LADY CAN YOU NOT FUCKING COUNT TO ONE PROPERLY
So yeah, now I have to summarize the use of a Bunsen burner and how you set it up and shit for Thursday and I get to possible actually end up using one on Friday but my idiot lab partner will end up either making me do it completely on my own or fucking it up so much that both of us will get in trouble even though I'm one of Mrs Robinson's favorite students (I'm not saying this in a cocky way, she legit picks favorites and it's really fucking obvious)
Ok I should really stop ranting now this is like my 3rd one today ily guys and I'll update you on the whole religion class Old Testament thing again tomorrow after school :)
