As soon as I parked my car i got my phone out of my work bag i opened it and phoned Damon, to let him know i made it ok but also i miss his voice. Not seen him since this morning and will probably be back late cause it's girls night, after a few rings

"why hi there" he says instantly brining a smile to my face

"hi handsome how was your day?" i ask and he sighs

"well i booked our flights and hotel for our trip then went with Stefan to talk to Donovan about some suspicious animal attacks which suprise suprise, were actually animal attacks because there's nothing happening in this stupid town. Y/n i'm soooo bored" he says making me roll my eyes

"i'm happy nothing is happening and that we're on good terms with everybody, can't remember the last time i didn't have to look over my shoulder everytime i left the house" i say

"sweetheart you never had to look over your shoulder cause you had me and that still doesn't stop me feeling bored" he says

"well find another hobby instead of whining about it" i say smirking and he pauses before saying

"i could always go annoy your brother" he says

"leave Kai alone" i say

"fine" he say making me smile

"and thank you for booking everything, just think next week you and me on a beach relaxing, eating a lot of food, drinking" i say with a sigh

"i can think of many ways i wanna celebrate with you that don't involve leaving our hotel room" he says and i laugh

"Damon.." i say

"c'mon you love me" he says and i can hear the smirk in his voice

"i do" i say

"one year of marriage, can you believe we made it this far?" I ask

"younger me certainly wouldn't" he says and i sit up slightly

"hey! what's that supposed to mean?" i say and he laughs

"how was work today?" he asks

"good, the board meeting took all day so be and y/b/n will spend all day tomorrow finalising everything for the big pitch, and everybody agreed with me on the financial changes so everybody's happy" i say

"wow look at my coo go" he says and i smile

"well now i'm just waiting for one of the girls to show up before heading in, speaking of i don't know what time we'll be done but if it's not too late i can swing by the boarding house and pick you up?" i ask

"i'm happy to make my own way but if you are offering i will happily get a lift ,only if it's not too late cause you have to be up early" he says

"i don't mind" i say and i look up and see Bonnie walking towards the car "ok Bonnie's just arrived so i'm gonna go" i say

"ok love you" he says

"love you babe see you later" i say hanging up and getting out the car "hey you" i say giving her a big hug

"hey, Caroline's running late so she said just to head inside" she says and i nod linking arms with her and making our way in.

"good i'm starving"
