A week later:
"NO!" Lauren yells at the top of her lungs. She holds her phone tightly in her hands as she stares the two people in her doorway down with her angriest gaze ever. They don't budge though, and stand their ground, one of them still holding their hands out.
"This is not what I agreed to." Lauren snaps, her angry gaze now pointed at Lucy, who looks at her worriedly from her place next to the two strangers in the superstar's mansion.
"Lauren, you told me to look for help. That's what I did." Lucy replies, trying to act tougher than she actually is while she leans against the wall behind her.
"This is not help!" Lauren shouts. "These people counsel psychopaths and serial killers. I don't belong there!"
Lucy rolls her eyes. "Just give them the phone, Lauren. Its not forever."
"Three months is a long time though." Lauren snaps back, her eyebrows furrowed as she stares at the electronic device in her hands. Not only was she an alcoholic and drug abuser, but also a phone addict.
"It'll be better for you." Lucy assures her.
"No phones, ma'am." One of the two people dressed in all white tells the famous singer, who's head snaps in his direction.
"Shut up, you're not taken into a psychiatric ward!" Lauren snaps at the guy, who still doesn't really look impressed.
"At your own will." Lucy chimes in, leaving her spot on the wall and putting her hands in her sides.
"I didn't know it would all be this strict." Lauren says, panic evident in her voice.
"Lauren, come on-" Lucy starts, being interrupted by someone else however.
"Lo, don't be such a little motherfucker." The person says.
Lauren smiles.
"Camila.." She breathes out, surprise by the girl's sudden presence. She hasn't seen the girl since the night she woke up at the hospital, much to her annoyance. "Wh- what are you-"
"Pushing you to get the help you need." Camila says sternly, her gaze fixed upon the green eyed girl.
"Maybe I can- do it by myself." Lauren counters, to which Lucy and Camila sigh at the same time.
"You've been drinking two bottles of wine a day ever since you left the hospital." Lucy says seriously, holding up two fingers, at which Camila stares. "Jheez, Lo.." She stammers.
"I only had one yesterday." Lauren tries defending herself.
"And you had three today." Lucy adds however, making it all look even more dramatic, according to Lauren's head.
"Fine. But I think it's bullshit that I have to give them my phone."
"Because you're addicted to that one as well." Camila says quickly.
"I- I-" Lauren stutters, not wanting to actually tell the girl she still thinks about so much, that she actually mostly uses her phone to look at their old chat messages and photos she sent. And so she scoffs. "Whatever." She says then, making a bold decision.
She walks over to one of the two strangers wearing white and hands over her phone. "Ya'll will miss me though." She says before picking up the bag that she had been forced to pack by Lucy. At first she thought her friend would take her on a trip for a weekend or something. But she'd never expected the girl to call the psychiatric centre, rehab centre, whatever.
"Can we at least get a hug?" Lucy asks the green eyed girl. Who dramatically drops her bag and nods.
"You saying we just sounds like were all in a relationship together or something." Lauren comments, smiling at both girls.
Camila fakes a confused expression. "Aren't we?"
Lauren smacks her arm. "Jesus, this is such a weird situation." She steps forward and envelops Lucy into a tight hug. "Thanks Luce."
"Good luck in there." She replies, a bittersweet smile on her face. "Don't go mad."
"I'll try."
She steps back before noticing the how teary eyed Camila suddenly looked. "Camz.." She breathes out, not really knowing what to say to the girl.
"Don't die.. okay?" Camila asked her then, pouting a little. Lauren smiles at the cute girl before hugging her tightly, wrapping her arms all the way around her and holding her close.
"I promise I won't die." She says. "Not in there at least okay?"
She feels Camila nodding into the hug. "O-okay." She says. "Now go."
Lauren takes in the other girl's scent one last time before stepping back and joining the two rehab center workers.
"Bye."
