The Plan: The Final Phase Part I

We left the house not too much later, deciding it was a good idea to grab some strong coffee and donuts on the way to the stadium. I couldn't help but snigger at my friend as she gave the occasional nervous sigh as we drove to Dunkin Donuts.

"anyone would think you're going to meet the man of your dreams this afternoon" I teased. She flashed an annoyed look at me, making me smile more.

Me: hey Danny, stopping for coffee but we're on our way. Hope Js calmed down a little before we arrive! Haha x

D: he's banging on about face time. I don't wanna ask, I assume it's with you... Haha hurry up! Can't hold on much longer! Bring me one with chocolate sprinkles! X

I laugh out loud and Olivia looks at me questioningly, so obviously I have to tell her who it is...

"who'd have thought when we first met, that we'd come to this" she sighed, looking across at me. I grinned and shook my head, "that meeting me would somehow end up in you meeting him" I teased her, smiling. She scoffed and looked back out the windscreen. "you better not say anything about that to him" she warned me. I smiled angelicly. "I wouldn't need to, he'll just know you were meant to meet" I said, feeling awfully romantic all of a sudden. "maybe you need to focus on Edelman" she said bluntly. I snapped out of my daze and looked at her with a smirk. I knew I was getting to her...

We pulled up in front of the stadium, the huge building looming over us as we sat in Oliva's BMW. "I don't think I've ever been so nervous in my entire life" I nervously chuckled. "you're gonna be fine. He's gonna absolutely love the fact you're here" she smiled comfortingly at me. I looked at her and smiled a little, then I glanced at the clock, it was time to go. "we better head inside, Danny said the comp winners have to be inside and ready to go through for 12.25. The players head out to warm up at half past." It was already 12.20. Olivia nodded and we climbed out of her car.

"okay guys, listen up!" the guy in charge of the visitors shouted to hush us down. "were gonna head out now onto the field, feel free to take a seat or whatever, the guys will do some warming up and run through of a few plays. It's Monday so don't expect anything hard core. They know you're here so they will head over toward the end of the session to sign stuff for you guys, so please don't be heckling them to come over straight away" he told us. Some giggling to our right made me and Olivia glance round at them. I raised a brow and then looked back to the dude. "okay, let's go!" he yelled and had us all filing behind him like we were back at school.

I wrapped my scarf and coat tighter around my frame as we stepped out into the cold winter air. The sky looked full, almost ready to explode with snow, I was shaking still, but that was nerves, not the temperature. I was glad of wearing my woolly hat as well, it also shielded my identity a lityle, but it's not like he'd even think I was anywhere near here today. I shivered again, as we stopped at a roped off point where we could stand and watch the training session. Any minute now and I'd set eyes on his perfect form once again.

"there they are" a voice said, belonging to a guy a few people down from us. All our eyes darted across the field, and slowly we saw them appear. Some jogging out, others sauntering, that including J and Danny. Bizarrely, once I'd seen him my nerves dissipated. I felt calm and happy. It was so weird.

"I can't believe how close we are to them though" one of the giggling girls from before said, "I know" said another, "I got a perfect view of Edelman's butt" the first girl squeaked. Olivia took a glance at me and I raised my eyebrow, "I'd love to get my teeth into that" the second one laughed, all of them joining in. My expression turned to a frown, "you already have" Olivia winked making me chuckle smugly. "wait til they see his reaction later" she smiled too. I bit my lip and smiled, looking back across the field.

"Julian!" the girls yelled over to him. My heart shot into my throat as I kept my eyes fixed on him. He immediately looked over on hearing his name and he waved at them. They giggled and all waved back. For fuck sake. Olivia sniggered, clearly reading my mind and I couldn't help but grin. I'd be the one going home with him later...

"thats a cute one Pen" Olivia said, showing me a photo she'd just taken of the two guys. "erm, you do realise I get sent pictures like that from him?" I whispered, making her tut at me. I laughed and carried on watching. I was glad of the hot coffee and donuts we'd grabbed on the way to keep us warm, but now as my eyes raked over Julian's body, I was having flash backs of our night together and I was getting a little flustered. "stop undressing him with your eyes" Olivia whispered, nudging me with her elbow. I grinned, "I know what's underneath all that though" I practically salivated.
