The perfect stepdad

Prompt - Omg I’m in love with this :D What if Tom is Nathan's stepdad and Nathan(11/12) has been acting up at school and Tom comes and spanks him in front of his classmates but Nathan fights him and runs out of the school and goes to Scooter's (like an uncle to him) and tries begging him to talk Tom out of punishing him more.

 Nathan had been 8 year old when his mother, Kelsey decided to remarry. Nathan had hated his mother’s decision to remarry. But he also knew that Kelsey had been through a lot ever since Nathan’s father abandoned them. So when Kelsey introduced Nathan and Tom to each other, they were all three hesitant if they would ever be a family. Even Tom had been quite hesitant if he and Nathan will ever get along but luckily, Nathan had grown very fond of Tom. 3 years later, at 11 years old, Nathan would rather say Tom was his Dad rather than a step dad.

Along with loving Tom, Nathan also obeyed everything his step dad and though he would whine he accepted the rules also that Tom imposed. He hadn’t been new to spankings. His mum, Kelsey, had always used spanking as an effective method to punish him. He didn’t certainly like it the first time Tom had spanked him but he also learnt that Tom truly loved him and would do anything to keep him safe. Even spank him to keep him in line. He didn’t like it when Tom spanked him but he knew Tom was doing it only for his own good. So, Nathan never kept a grudge against Tom for that.

Tom was a cool step dad. With him, Nathan got to do everything he hadn’t with his own father. From playing football to going to watch matches or going fishing together, Tom had always been there for him. He would help Nathan with his homework and would even help him sneak the candies that Kelsey kept on the top shelf. He was a perfect step dad. But when he would take to discipline Nathan, the boy would try everything to get out of that punishment. Tom’s spankings really hurt. And Nathan would do anything to not get punished by him.

One of the best things Nathan thought so that he wouldn’t get in trouble with Tom was to behave. And he was doing well until Tom got that call from school. Along with Kelsey, Tom also was listed as Nathan’s emergency contact. So when Nathan, apparently, happened to act up at school, Tom was immediately informed. Kelsey had been unreachable so the school had to call Tom. And Nathan could already feel himself panicking at the thought of being punished by his step dad.

Tom had been very angry as he drove to Nathan’s school. Lately, he and Kelsey had been busy with their respective work and Nathan had assured them that he needed no help with school and that all his homework was up to date. But now the school called him to inform his that since a week Nathan hasn’t been doing his homework and was being very rude to his teachers. And today, along with three of his friends he had bunked a class. Tom had been so angry that all he wanted to do was to blister Nathan’s behind.

When he reached the principal’s office, Nathan was standing in a corner along with his three friends. Tom glared at Nathan before taking a seat in front of the principal. “Mr. Parker, I’m really sorry to have disturbed you. Nathan, usually, is a very bright kid. He’s doing well in every class except of Mr. Jones’s class. See, Mr. Jones teaches Math and it’s one of the core subjects here. And Nathan has failed the test, hasn’t submitted his homework and was very rude to the teacher. Today, there was supposed to be a test again and Nathan bunked that class along with three of his friends. I’ve called his friends’, Max, Siva and Jay’s parents. This is a little out of limit and we, personally wanted to inform you also.” The principal said. Tom was fuming as he listened to what Nathan had been up to since last week.
