Max often called The Wanted as his family. It truly fitted, you see! He and Tom acting as the parents of the family while Siva and Jay could be term as the kids and Nathan; he was the baby of this family! Often, Max questioned himself about how they had fallen in such a routine but it seemed perfect. Max had been wondering what his role really was in this family but ever since the twitcam episode when Nathan called Max mommy, it kind of fell into place and Max could never bring himself to object but instead he found himself accepting it.

Whenever Max looked at Tom spanking the boys or scolding them, it felt as if Daddy was disciplining his boys. But whenever he was concerned, the boys would always come to him if they needed to talk to someone or as Nathan says, “just wanted to cuddle.” It really felt like he was the Mom of the band. Whereas Nathan, in every sense, was the baby of the band because he was the youngest and also, who could ever deny Nathan this title of the baby of the family!

But when it comes to Siva and Jay, Max would never admit it out loud that he saw them as part of the family also as if they were the eldest kids. Max knew how much Siva loved to help them out with the responsibilities just like the eldest kid of a family who wants to prove he is a big boy now. Siva would often help take care of Jay and Nathan just like an elder brother would do for his younger ones. Jay, on the other hand, was totally like the middle child. Sometimes, he would try to act like he was just like the rest of the boys and sometimes, he would feel jealous of Nathan and would try to reclaim his position of the second youngest of the family typically as a middle child would.

Jay and Siva, both, knew their roles in the family though they wouldn’t say it out loud. They knew they were loved just like Nathan was but sometimes they couldn’t help but feel jealous of the boy. And ever since Nathan started calling Max mommy, Siva and Jay couldn’t help but feel envious of Nathan. Though it wasn’t the case but they felt as if Tom and Max had a complete family with Nathan. Tom as the Daddy, Max as mommy and Nathan, the baby as usual while Jay and Siva couldn’t understand where they stand in this family.

Tom and Max hadn’t even caught on the little jealousy feeling going on with Jay and Siva until their mall trip. They had been out shopping when the boys insisted to come along. Everything was going on fine. Nathan was still a little sleepy that’s why Max was making him walk in the middle along with them. Tom was picking out things they needed and double checking with Max before putting anything in their shopping cart. Siva and Jay walked behind them watching as Max would rub Nathan’s back occasionally and promise him that they would be returning home soon for him to sleep. Tom would often smile at Nathan and ruffle his hair or give him a little hug. Tom and Max behaved as typical parents with their baby boy while Jay and Siva felt as if they were nothing but a tag along.

It didn’t take long for the jealousy to start showing. “Tom? Can we eat out after the shopping? I’m hungry” Jay said. “No, sorry Jay! Nathan is feeling sleepy. We have to get back home quickly!” Tom answered. “But even I want to go eat out” Siva whined. Max turned back, raising his eyebrow at the whining from Siva, “alright! But we make it fast! And don’t whine” Max said. Siva rolled his eyes as they followed Max, Tom and Nathan.
