Best Friends (Luke)

Part 2 of the Best Friends series! Yay! Best friends with Lukey Pukey. What could be better?

Luke looked at you from the ground as you giggled uncontrollably. "It's not funny." He muttered and continued to lay in the soft grass. "Are you kidding? That was the funniest thing to ever happen in the history of ever!" You gasped out between your hysterics. He made a face and tried to wipe off the now permanent grass stain. You giggled once more and peeked over the side of the trampoline and right into his blue eyes. "I can't you just flew off the trampoline! You bounced really high!" You admitted and Luke just stared at you. "Luke? Are you Ok? Do I need to call a waaaambulance?" You teased, making him blink. His noodly legs were spread out across the grass and his hands were at his sides. "You know, for a best friend, you're awfully rude. A normal person would ask if I was Ok and help me up. You're laughing at my will to live." Now it was your turn to blink. "Ok....what?" You asked and Luke rolled his eyes and finally got himself off the ground. You moved over and sat on the trampoline with your legs crossed. He hoisted himself onto the bouncy plaything and jumped over to you. "I'm sorry for laughing. It was funny as hell though." You sort of apologized. Luke chuckled and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "I admit, if I saw you go flying off the trampoline and on the ground I'd laugh my ass off. Then I'd help you up." You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder, giggling about Luke flying.

5 Years  Later

"I dunno Y/N...we haven't done this in a few years." Luke said unsure. You pulled on his hand (with a devilish grin...) leading him to the neglected trampoline. "C'mon! It'll be fun Lucas." He sighed and finally stopped struggling against you. "This will not be fun. I will fall and die. I will come back as a ghost and haunt you forever. I'll start by messing with your car stereo so all you can listen to is "Call Me Maybe." He threatened playfully, making you laugh and cringe at the thought of hearing that song over and over. You climbed onto the trampoline and yanked on Luke's arm. "Ow! Hey! I need that." He mumbled and fumbled onto the trampoline. Still as noodly as ever. You held both of his hands and began jumping on the bouncy surface, going higher with each jump. "If you do fall and die, can I have your stuff?" You asked in mid air.  He stuck his tongue out at you and let go of your hands. He motioned for you to move out of the way so he could do a trick. He flipped himself into the air and landed perfectly on his feet with cat like grace. (Hah. Not true. Mr Noodle.) "The master of awesomeness at your service!" He declared. "More like master of dufus's." You muttered and received a glare from the master dufus.

"Luke stop doing flips! You're going to hurt yourself!" You yelled as he kept hurling himself into the air. "Never! Master dufus's don't stop!" At that point in time, Mama Hemmings was stopping by and she opened the back door to see her dork of a son in mid air. "Lucas what are you doing?!" She yelled. This caused Luke to panic and lose his focus making him trip and fall on his face. He then bounced off his face and over the edge of the trampoline. He made a loud thud when he hit the ground....with his face. "Oh." Was all that came out of your mouth. Liz on the other hand started giggling. Luke looked up, spitting out grass and glared at his mum. "Is now really the appropriate time to be laughing?" He questioned and Liz nodded. "Your face hit everything." She giggled. You couldn't hold it in any longer. You just couldn't help it. The laugh erupted from your mouth and wouldn't stop. "She's right Luke! Your face bounced off everything! Except the ground. Your face kind of just smashed into it." Luke groaned and put his face back in the grass. This is why you don't fall and die kids.
