Best Friends (Ashton)

Hi guys! I'm sorry it's been a long time since I updated! Hopefully you guys like it :)

Ashton:  "Ash hand me my bag would you?" You asked, sitting at the restaraunt table. He smiled and reached over, grabbing your small bag. He unzipped it and started rummaging through your belongings as you raised an eyebrow. "Is there something you're trying to find in there?" You questioned. "I'm looking for Y/E's balls. It seems he lost them when he broke up with you over text." You let out a giggle and smiled at his attempt to make you feel better. Ash was the best friend that stayed by your side through thick and thin. You took the bag from Ashton and patted his fisted up hand. "Thanks Ash. I don't know what I'd do without you." He nodded and mumbled something that sounded like, "Ducking sick." But it was definitely way worse than that. Ashton knew you were having a hard time with the whole breakup, so he brought you out to lunch. He specifically said that he wanted to spend the day with you trying to make you smile and laugh. So far it was working. "So after lunch, we are going to my house and we're making cupcakes and listening to the new tracks. Work for you?" He asked with a grin. He knew you loved listening to the new songs his band was working on. You nodded and sipped on your chocolate milkshake, courtesy of Ashton inisiting that you have one.

By the time you both got to his house, you had been laughing and smiling so much that you forgot about what's his name! "Ok so we have ingredients for either vanilla or lemon cupcakes. Your choice obviously." Ashton grinned and pulled out everything he had for the confectionary awesomeness. "Why not lemon vanilla?" You suggested and Ash's eyes widened. "You mean....flavor merging?" You waggled your eyebrows and nodded your head. "The ultimate merge." He playfully bowed to you and chuckled. "I'm not worthy cupcake queen!" You rolled your eyes and lightly whacked his shoulder. "Get up you dork. I want cupcakes." He pouted and gave you the sad puppy dog look. The awful puppy dog look. "Awwh Ash. Don't look at me like that." He continued to pout. You tried to poke his face and make silly faces at him, but no matter what you did, he wouldn't stop pouting. Eventually you just started to mix the batter ignoring his face. He didn't talk or move. He pouted. "Ash...knock it off. I want you to have fun!" Pout. You dipped your finger in the batter and dabbed it on his nose. The pout disappeared and was replaced with a smile and giggles. "Finally! Now help me with the pans!" He grinned and set the cupcake liners in the pans expertly. Yes you can be an expert cupcake liner placer. He managed to create a pattern of blue and purple. It actually looked pretty cool. After you poured the batter into the liners, Ashton set the pans in the oven to bake.

"Frosting?" You questioned and Ashton pulled out three cans of buttercream frosting. "Can't make cupcakes without frosting! What color do you want?" Geez Ash thought of everything. He then grabbed a box full of different colors of food coloring and set it in front of you. "We could even make more than one color." You thought about it and came up with a fun idea for the colors. "What if we did tie die?" Ashton's smile widened and he pulled out all of the colors. "I like your creativity dear." You grabbed a giant bowl for the frosting and Ash opened the food coloring. You scooped the three cans of frosting into the bowl and Ash handed you the red, yellow, and green food coloring while he held the blue and purple. "Let's do this." You began swirling the colors together, making a rainbow like effect in the buttercream. It was starting to look really artistic and fun so Ashton took the opportunity to take a picture and post it to Instagram and Twitter. Before long, the frosting was finished and the oven timer beeped. Ash pulled the pans out of the oven and set them on the stove. "Beautimous. Absolutely perfect." He commented and smiled his contagious smile. His charisma and personality seemed to radiate and touch everyone around him. Especially you. He made you smile and forget about the worrisome thoughts in your mind. There's just something about him that lifts everything off your shoulders. "Alright! Cupcakes need to cool off for a few minutes before we can decorate them." You jumped up on the counter and dipped your finger in the colorful frosting and tasted it. "Does it taste like the rainbow?" Ashton joked and you smirked. "Nah I think this is exactly how one of those My Little Pony things would taste." Ashton blinked and scratched his head. "I don't even want to know which part you were thinking." Your stomach never hurt so much from laughing.

Decorating the cupcakes was way more fun with Ashton because he tends to make puns such as, "Man I'm baked." And, "What did the cupcake say to the other cupcake?....Absolutely muffin." Such bad puns. But pretty funny. The frosting looked amazing with the cupcakes and they tasted even better. "These are easily turning into my religion. Cupcake. All you do is eat cupcakes all day every day." He said, his mouth full. After you finished one cupcake you smirked and handed him another one. "I dare you to shove this whole thing in your mouth." He took the cupcake and narrowed his eyes. "Are you challenging me?" You nodded and smiled. "C'mon Ash!" He unwrapped the cupcake and opened his mouth, shoving the entire thing in his mouth. You snorted and watched as he tried to eat it, the frosting falling from his face. He looked down at the blob of frosting and mumbled, "Dammut." Your sides hurt and you couldn't catch your breath by the time he finally finished eating it. The smile on his face was brighter than ever, seeing you laugh and forget about the jerk that broke your heart. Ashton is such a sweetheart and he'd do anything for you, his best friend.

(Awww  I  want  to  bake  cupcakes  with  Ashton  so  badly.  I'm  sorry  if   it  wasn't  my  best,  I  tried  haha!  But  if  you  did  like  it  and  want  the  other  boys....you  have  to  comment  your  favorite  joke/pun!  It'll  be  fun  ;)  I  love  you  guys!!!)

Dear  Mr.  Calum  Hood,
I  can't  believe  you're  19  already!  It's  insane!  Our  favorite  bass  player  is  growing  up  :')  I  hope  you  had  a  wonderful  day  and  that  a  puppy  magically  appeared  in  your  room.  That's  weird.  I'm  sorry  this  is  late,  but  I  still  love  you  and  I  wish  you  a  happy  belated  birthday.  We  love  you  Cal!  Happy  birthday  Cash  Money.
