Well... basically you know the red wedding. Yeah that. If you don't.

The car rolled slowly into the car park in front of the Knight Mansion. Reece and Marjorie got out and looked briefly at the imposing building in front of them. The invitation had come unexpectedly - almost mysteriously. It wasn't like Roger Knight to invite someone to dinner just like that. Especially not without a good reason. But the name "Knight" always had a lot of meaning, and an invitation to his house could never be something unimportant.

"What do you think he wants?" Marjorie asked as she looked at the massive building towering into the dark evening sky.

"I don't know," Reece muttered, pulling open the gate, "But it can't be good. Dad doesn't invite unless it has a deeper meaning."

As the couple moved towards the entrance, they caught sight of two more cars. Autumn's red Jaguar, and right next to it the black BMW, which could only belong to one person. "Janice..." Marjorie growled softly.

"Aut, Winter," Reece said as he greeted his sister and brother-in-law. Neither of them looked very enthusiastic. "And what do you think Dad wants from us?"

Autumn sighed and rolled her eyes. "The fact that Janice is here too just means it must have something to do with the merger."

"Really?" asked Winter. "Maybe he's finally retiring."

"I hardly think so," Reece replied, crossing his arms. "He's never really shown any interest in retiring."

Shortly afterwards, Mia's black Mustang pulled into the car park and the redhead got out with Charlotte.

The group gathered in front of the imposing front door. Nobody really seemed to know what to expect. Reece knocked on the heavy door, which was opened by a servant. The man wore a black suit and didn't speak.

He led the group through the long corridor, past works of art and luxurious furniture, until they reached the dining room. The room was large and sombre, with a long, candlelit table in the centre. Soft classical music played in the background, performed by a group of musicians.

At the head of the table sat Roger Knight, waiting for her with his arms crossed. His eyes glinted coldly in the candlelight. Siobhan sat right next to him, her gaze fixed on the table. At the other end of the table, Janice had already settled down with a wine glass in her hand and a slight grin on her lips.

"Sit down," Roger said quietly, nodding to the chairs. "Thank you for coming," he began as everyone took their seats. "I know it's not easy for you to be here. But I'm still glad that you've all accepted my invitation."

The atmosphere in the room was tense, but nobody said anything. The soft music sounded like a gloomy harbinger. Glances were exchanged amongst themselves. Uncertainty was in the air. Autumn and Mia kept looking at each other, they didn't need to exchange words. They both had an uneasy feeling.

Marjorie cleared her throat, she felt Janice was watching her. The woman stared at her the whole time with a smug grin, as if she knew something.

"What exactly do you want?" Reece asked his father after a while, when the silence became too oppressive.

"What do I want?" Roger repeated with a thin smile. "To make amends. After everything that's happened." His words made Siobhan shrink beside him.

Charlotte, who had seen this, leant towards Mia. "I don't like this at all... Something's not right." Mia shared her girlfriend's thoughts, but tried to hide her unease. "Don't worry Sweatheart, everything will be fine."
