Narrator: "Ash came to school on time after leaving Kahuna Hala's place. He knew he couldn't just leave the Alola region suddenly to find Serena, so he informed all of his friends about what happened to her and also made sure to get some weeks of holidays just in case he takes longer than expected to return. Ash is now in Professor Kukui's house, packing up his bag when the Professor came in."

"Are you taking Rowlet with you?" Professor kukui asked Ash who was busy packing his bag in his room. Everything was a mess in Ash's room currently.
"Yeah Professor. I'm taking him with me. He might come in handy since i don't think i'll have time to catch Pokemon on my short trip. By the way Professor, If i leave the Alola Region, Will my Z-Ring become useless?" Ash asked Professor while gazing his Z-Ring.
"Actually, you can use Z-moves since you are still technically competing in the Island Trials" Professor answered a curious Ash.
"Is it possible to get another z-crystal, Professor? Extra Crystals might come in handy!" Ash asked Prof. Kukui who started to sweatdrop as Ash asked for such a huge favor.
"Uh.. I'm afraid i can't do that. you must earn every z-crystal. You can't just get them like groceries from a supermarket." Prof. kukui replied in a silly tone while scratching the back of his head.
"Oh. no problem Professor. I still have a Normalium-Z and an Electrium-Z so i can work with that. I always have. Let's go, Professor. My friends must be on their way to the Hoenn Region. Can't have them waiting on me to begin the search" Ash said to Prof. Kukui as he zipped his bag pack close and stood up.
"Oh, and Rotom can't go with you since his data is only limited to pokemon found in Alola. you should leave Rotom with me till you get back" Prof. Kukui said to Ash as they went for the main door.
"Is that okay with you Rotom?" Ash asked Rotom who was floating around as usual."No problem, i will stay with the Professor till you get back, zzt" Rotom replied in a proud manner.
"Okay, Let's go!, Pikachu. We have a mission to accomplish!" Ash said to his buddy Pikachu, who climbed up to his shoulder."Pik-Piii!" (Let's go!) Pikachu replied in a happy tone.
Ash's POV
Professor dropped me off at the airport. Like the rest of alola, it was a beautiful building. There were palm trees on the outside and there were patches of tall-grass growing out of random spots inside. We were told to go to the waiting area before we could board our flight.
There was a few minutes left before i could board. (In thoughts) "why not try and communicate with Greninja again? It always feels great when me and Greninja are in sync. Almost like I can feel everything going through his mind. For a Pokemon, Greninja sure has been doing a lot in Kalos for the past while, taking care of those residual vines." I said to myself, thinking about Greninja as I was about to focus, trying to get in-sync with him.
