[END] The Unbreakable Bond!

Kyurem roared, as he crawled out of the water. He took deep breaths, and was barely capable of carrying his own weight. He dropped down on the solid ground stomach-down, and just remained still.

Ash, Serena, and Lawrence came out of the main control chamber of the Ultimate Key. Ash didn't say anything, as he got congratulations from his friends for restoring the light. He looked at Riley and Ilene, who appeared fine, as Thomas' body faded out of existence earlier.

Ash just quickly walked ahead and petted Kyurem, who was still on the ground. "Thanks, buddy--- you did great." He calmly whispered. Kyurem let out a grunt, but didn't reply with words. The sounds of his deep, exhausted breathing did the talking for him.

Pikachu came running, along with Spark. They cheered for the light being restored, but Ash didn't say much.

"Serena---" Ash spoke up, turning towards Serena. "Heal Kyurem."

Serena nodded, and quickly handed over Anna and Zenith to Lawrence. She then stepped up and used her powers to begin replenishing Kyurem's health, by placing her glowing pink hands on Kyurem's large body.

"How long is it gonna take?" Ash asked.

"It's hard to tell." Serena replied. "Kyurem is at critically low levels of Auranium." She added.

Ash adjusted his gloves, before calling back all of his Pokemon into their Pokeballs. "Heal Kyurem to full health, and send him up." He told Serena. "I can sense the corrupt Aura from Lucifer getting stronger and stronger by the second. I'll go ahead and slow down the summoning process." He added, as he called all 30 Tauros back into the God Stone.

"Want me to come with you?" Lawrence asked.

"No." Ash replied, before looking at Anna and Zenith in Lawrence's arms. Anna was asleep, while Zenith just curiously stared at his surroundings. "Dad--- You're not immortal anymore. You need to let me take the reins now." He added, before patting Anna and Zenith. He gave the two twins a kiss on the forehead, before looking far up in the sky.

"Okay, Son." Lawrence replied. "If that's what you want."

"Just a few more minutes, Ash." Serena spoke up, continuing to heal Kyurem.

"Good." Ash responded. He called Machamp and Alakazam; two of the Pokemon he briefly trained on Pokemon Island. "Protect Serena while she's here. Once she's done, teleport yourself and her to the Palace."

The two Pokemon nodded and saluted Ash like obedient soldiers.

Ash turned towards Lawrence. "In the meantime, evacuate everyone else from the tree." He said. "I don't want anyone to get hurt anymore. The threat that remains is something I alone can properly face."

"Be careful, Kid." Lawrence said, as Ash stepped into the hot springs water. "I'll make sure Kyurem gets up there as soon as possible."

Ash walked on the water's surface, and stopped in the middle of the hot springs. He looked up through the opening and at the clear sky, as the marks on his cheeks disappeared. His eyes glowed with a fierce blue / sky blue Aura, as he adjusted his blue hat. "Hang on, Pikachu. I'm about to unleash my rage."

*BOOM*

A shockwave got released as Ash blasted straight up into the sky, using powers of the Flying-type. Ash hovered high above the Tree, before spotting Lucifer on the top. Lucifer hadn't moved an inch, and still had Ultra Necrozma guarding his vulnerable body. Ash levelled off and descended, landing 100 meters away from Lucifer.

Ash stood up straight, with his sights locked on Lucifer.

Lucifer opened his eyes, and looked back at Ash. "So you survived, huh?" He noted. "And you managed to get your Mom killed. GREAT JOB!" He yelled with a psychopathic grin on his face.
