[The Alola Region, Melemele Island]

Samson Oak, the principal of the Pokemon School was looking through some papers, when he stumbled across Ash's application for holidays to leave the Pokemon School. Vulpix, the red-colored Fox Pokemon that hatched from the Egg Ash brought, was in the Principal's lap, looking at the papers and quickly placed it's paw on Ash's picture.

"Ah-- Ash--- He came and left very Onixpectedly, don't you think, Vulpix?" Principal Oak said to Vulpix as his eyes changed into those resembling an Onix.

"Vul--" Vulpix said to Principal Oak while lowering it's head. 

"You're missing him? Okay! Let's call Ash on the PokeGear number he sent me!" Principal Oak said as he got up from his chair while holding Vulpix in his arms, as he walked towards his Videophone TV and dialed a Video call to Ash.

*Caller tune*

Suddenly, Ash picked up the call while walking on Route 23.

(On-Screen) "Hello? Principal Oak?" Ash said as he saw in his PokeGear's screen.

"Oh! Ash my boy! It's so good to See-adra you!" Principal Oak said as his mouth formed spikes like a Seadra.

"Vul--!" Vulpix exclaimed as it looked at Ash in the huge TV screen.

"See! Vulpix is saying hello! How are you doing, Ash?" Principal Oak said to Ash.

(On-Screen) "Hi, Vulpix!--- I'm doing well, Principal--- and--- I've got someone else with me!" Ash said as he moved his PokeGear's screen towards Lillie, who was now walking beside him.

"Lillie?! No wonder your Butler Mr. Hobbs has been looking all over for you! How did you manage to get so far???" Principal Oak said with a dropped jaw.

(On-Screen) "It's kinda complicated at this point, Principal. I just finished writing an application that I was going to e-mail to you--- I need some holidays---" Lillie said to the Principal while sweat-dropping a bit.

"Oh-- all right, Lillie--- Don't worry about it at all!--- I presume you'll be back in a week, yes? What should I tell Hobbs?" Principal Oak asked.

(On-Screen) "I'm not exactly sure, Principal--- but I'm with my Mom, so tell Hobbs to not worry at all." Lillie said to the Principal.

The camera panned back to Ash's face.

(On-Screen) "So, Principal--- why did you call?" Ash asked.

"Oh-- I was just-- Me and Vulpix here were missing you, so we decided to say Hi--- I presume you're battling hard and using your Z-Ring quite effectively, yes?" Principal Oak asked Ash.

(On-Screen) "Yeah--- well---- I accidentally broke it---" Ash replied while sweat-dropping.

"WHAT?! YOU BROKE YOUR Z-RING THAT TAPU KOKO GAVE YOU?!" Principal Oak yelled as his mouth got wider than that of a Wailmer.

The voice of the Principal yelling echoed out of the window of his office, out in the jungle.

(On-Screen) "I'm really sorry, Principal Oak--- I just didn't know what I did, but it just--- broke to bits and pieces--- I still have the Z-Crystals in my bag though---" Ash replied while sweat-dropping intensively.

"Oh well--- You do realize how much of a unique thing that was? A Guardian Deity giving a Z-Ring to a tourist---?" Principal Oak was saying, when suddenly Ash cut him off.

(On-Screen) "Well-- I'm sorry--- Wait! Look at that! Is that---" Ash said in a surprised tone with his eyes open wide. He could see Tapu Koko hovering behind the Principal, at his office's window.
