[Indigo League Journey Day 5, Viridian City, Team Rocket H.Q Interrogation room, 9AM]
Writer's POV
Narrator: "Although Ash and his friends are having fun on their journey and time together, Jessie, James and Meowth are in a tough spot inside the Team Rocket Lab's interrogation room as they have been given a hard task."
(In Jessie's Head) "I should just hurt this guy, right? Then he'll tell us everything we want to know. But I don't feel like I can do such a thing... Going after the twerp's Pikachu is much easier than all of this!" Jessie said to herself in her head as she approached old Dr. Fuji.
Jessie almost threw away the tazer and pull back from the mission, when Dr. Namba stepped in. "You haven't even started yet!?" He exclaimed as he saw Jessie just standing next to Dr. Fuji, doing nothing.
"It's J-J-Just that it's useless to use these tools, Doctor." Jessie said to Dr. Namba as she turned around. "What? How are these useless?" Dr. Namba asked Jessie to explain her deduction.
"Look at all those marks on his body. If these tools did work, he would've given up the information already!" James said to Dr. Namba, making him think for a while.
"Very well, I was ordered to give you these if you succeeded, but since you need a better torturing tool, here you go." Dr. Namba said to Jessie and James as he reached for a pocket in his lab coat and pulled out two Mega Stones and two Key Stones, and placed them on the small table next to the torturing tools.
"This here's an Arbokinite, and this is a Weezinginite. Whereas these little stones are the Key stones that trigger the Mega-Evolution. Go on, put these on your Pokemon with this." Dr. Namba said to Jessie and James as he handed them some strings to tie the Key stones and Mega stones on their respective Pokemon and fingers.
"Uhh-- Okay" Jessie and James said as they released their Arbok and Weezing. Jessie put the Arbokinite on Arbok by tying it to it's tubular body, while James tied the Weezinginite with the small tube-like joint in weezing's second, smaller face.
"You two have a good bond with your Pokemon, Yes?" Dr. Namba asks Jessie and James who had just put on the Mega Stones on their Pokemon. "Yes" They replied, with a bit of an excited tone. They always wanted their own Mega-Evolved Pokemon, and now they were getting them.
"Well then, go on." Dr. Namda said to Jessie and James as he stood there, expecting to see some results in interrogating Dr. Fuji.
"Arbok! Mega Evolve!" Jessie exclaimed as she tapped on her newly acquired Key Stone. "Chaar--Bok!" Arbok exclaimed as the Arbokinite attached to his tail glowed, and so did the Key stone Jessie was holding.
Arbok grew in size, his venomous fangs grew out of his mouth, his body developed scary markings similar to his mouth and eyes, and his tail now resembled an arrow.
