Ash squinted his eyes in seriousness. "This is it." He said in a low voice. His head lowered, his eyes closed, and his hair pointing upwards in spikes as he sat on a plain white floor. "Nothing is more important than the task at hand!" He said to himself.

Nearby, Serena slid the door of the room open, and entered it. She looked around the room, and looked at nearly 20 Shadow clones of Ash himself, who were all sitting on the ground and thinking hard, holding a pen and paper in each of their hands.

"Ash! What's going on?!" Serena said, startled a bit.

All of the shadow clones of Ash looked at Serena. "The real one's up there." One of the clones said, pointing at the ceiling of the room.

"Huh?" Serena said, as she turned her head upwards, and looked at Ash sitting on the ceiling upside-down, as if he was glued to it. Ash's eyes were closed, his legs crossed like a yogi. "Ash? What are you doing up there? Isn't that going to use up your Aura?" She asked.

Suddenly, Zossie and Spark came up from behind. Spark was in his usual Black/Orange outfit, whereas Zossie was lacking her usual white helmet. "WHOA!!!" Both said at the same time, looking at Ash up on the ceiling.

Ash opened his faintly blue glowing eyes, and looked at everyone. He instantly dropped towards the ground, doing a back-flip before gently landing on his feet. "All right, Shadow Clone Me's--- let's see what we've got!" He said to his own Shadow Clones.

All of the Shadow Clones of Ash formed a line, as they handed over the paper they were writing on and continued to disappear into thin air, releasing a dust cloud in their wake.

"All right!" Ash said, looking at the stack of papers in his hands, after all of his Shadow Clones disappeared.

Serena, Spark, and Zossie walked up to Ash.

"Sir Ashton! Sir Ashton!" Zossie said, doing her best to conceal her excitement.

"How did you do that?!" Spark asked.

"Oh? The sitting upside-down thing?" Ash asked, flipping through the pages in his hands. "It's a Ninja Technique--- I thought it'd be good to brush up on it before I teach it to Zossie." He added.

"So Awesome!" Spark said, forming a fist.

"You don't get to learn it, dummy!" Zossie said to Spark. "You're a Samurai boy! You get the rules, while I get the fun!" She added proudly.

"Don't start again, you two!" Serena strictly said to Zossie and Spark. She then looked around the room. "Where's Pikachu? Weren't you supposed to be getting your team ready to battle Jimmy? We're less than an hour away from the battle!" She said.

"Oh yea!" Ash replied. "Bonnie and Brock both took Pikachu and the rest of my Pokeballs with them to the Arena's Pokemon Center--- they'll be back in no-time!" He added.

"Oh." Serena said.

"Did you get me the water?" Ash asked, looking at Zossie.

"Oh yeah! Here you go!" Zossie said, reaching for her white backpack and taking out a water bottle. She handed the bottle over to Ash, who quickly took it and started chugging from it.

Serena looked at Ash with a bit of surprise on her face. "How did you get so thirsty all of a sudden?" She asked.

"I don't know." Ash replied. "Ever since my part water-type Aura awakened, I get thirsty way more often." He added.

"Oh, that's natural, Sir Ashton!" Zossie spoke up in an instant.

"It is?" Ash said, raising an eyebrow.
