"Hmm... my cup needs a re-fill" The writer said as he gazed upon his empty cup of coffee. "I should check my wattpad profile for any new notifications" He thought as he clicked on the conveniently placed little bookmark in his internet browser. The page loaded with a small red dot next to his profile picture "Oh, neat! I hope it's some great comments!" The writer said in anticipation as he opened his notifications. "Wait, what!? AWESOME!" He exclaimed with joy as he just noticed his book had hit 1,000 views!

[Indigo League Journey Day 1, Viridian forest. 6PM]

Writer's POV

After learning about Ash's newly acquired fame, Ash decided it would be best if he avoided crowds as much as possible. The small group managed to find a spot in the Viridian forest and set up their camp and a small bonfire. 

"Now that this is taken care of, it's time for some training! right, buddy?" Ash said to his partner Pikachu as he got up from the lit bonfire. "PI-Pika!" (Yea!) Pikachu replied as he formed two fists with his tiny hands as his cheeks started sparking. He was ready for some training. "Okay Greninja! I choose you!" Ash yelled as he released the blue Water/Dark type Pokemon from his Pokeball. "Okay, you two. It's training time! We'll be up against a fierce competition like never before, so we have to give it our best shot no matter what!" Ash said in his motivational attitude. "Ninja" "Pika" Greninja and Pikachu said as they nodded their heads 'yes'.

"Greninja! Full power! Stronger!" Ash said as he and Greninja went in sync, transforming Greninja into his more powerful form, Ash-Greninja.

"Okay, Greninja! Use Double Team!" Ash said to the Ninja Pokemon, commanding him to execute the first move in this training. Greninja gracefully clamped his hands and made multiple copies of himself that swarmed all over the battlefield.

"Pikachu! Use Iron Tail and find the real one!" Ash commanded his loyal electric type, to execute Iron Tail. Pikachu jumped high in the air and swung his tail in full power, causing it to glow as it pierced through the air. Pikachu then slammed his Iron Tail on copies of Greninja, effectively terminating them. He used Iron Tail repeatedly, till he had banished every single copy of Greninja.

"Greninja! Jump high and use cut!" Ash said to Greninja who promptly launched himself high in the clear night sky as he held a glowing blade-like object in his hand, executing Cut "Pikachu, go head-on with Iron Tail!" Ash said to Pikachu as he commanded a complete offense from both of Pokemon. The training went on for a few more minutes with Ash calling out all of the moves Pikachu and Greninja used.

Serena looked at Ash in admiration and how he was getting completely connected to his Pokemon as he trained with them. Watching Ash train so hard like that made Serena completely fired up as she too wanted to train her Pokemon to become stronger just like Ash. "Okay, you two, take some rest!" Ash said as he called his Pokemon back for a rest. Greninja changed back from his Ash-Greninja form right after Ash had given him a break. "Hey Ash! How about a battle?" Serena said as she stood up and came closer to Ash. "Huh? A battle? Awesome! you're ON!" Ash replied to Serena  "How about a Fire-on-Fire battle? My Delphox versus your Charizard? I really want to see how powerful it is in battle. We might be able to see that blue flame from Delphox again" Serena said to Ash, giving an excellent suggestion. "Alright, let's do this! Charizard! I choose you!" Ash said as he released his Fire/Flying type Pokemon. "Delphox! I choose you!" Serena said as she released her Fire/Psychic type Pokemon.
