Before I start this chapter, I wanted to say some things.

"So, what now?" I said after I saw Dad disappear into the light. Everything got as blank as a paper. "So I've died, Huh?" I said to myself as I lowered my head in dismay but in an extremely calm manner. "Death rids people of emotions, I guess" I said as I looked at My hands, again, in a very calm manner. I had my usual outfit with the blue jacket and dark pants. Suddenly, the Z-Ring on my left wrist cracked completely right before my eyes as it detached from my wrist and fell on the blank white ground.
"What just happened?" I thought to myself as I saw the broken Z-ring on the ground which had now transformed to a heap of clear pure Alolan sand. "Guess I've managed to kill myself with this" I said as I picked up the sand in my fist. "Funny what such a small and simple thing is capable of." I said to myself with a chuckle on my mouth as I watched the clear sand pouring down from my fist to the ground.

Writer's POV
Ash was lying on the bed, with his heartbeat gone. The Doctor and Nurse stood at the side there in complete silence as they saw Serena cry. Brock stood near the door, doing his best to hide his tears. Bayleef, Greninja, and Charizard were standing next to Serena and Ash, with Tears in their eyes as well as they looked at their dead trainer on the bed. Pikachu was standing on it, crying as he looked at Ash. "Pika-Pika Pi... Pika..." (But you promised to stay my partner forever... you lied to me...) Pikachu said, as He recalled all of his time he spent with his trainer. How they met the first day and Pikachu didn't even obey Ash or go into his Pokeball, How Ash cared for him when he got hurt trying to save him, All of the intense battles and adventures they shared throughout all of the different regions, the many different friends and rivals they met in their journeys together, How Ash demonstrated that no matter what, he will never give up on his dreams and believed in all of his Pokemon. He remembered each and every second he spent with his brave and courageous trainer, as never-ending tears fell down his small red cheeks continuously.

"Pika, Pi..." (Goodbye, Ash...) Pikachu said as he continued on crying uncontrollably.
"I'll always love you with all of my heart and soul, Ash" Serena said, crying, as she leaned in for a final goodbye kiss, but stopped right before their lips made contact. She just couldn't accept the fact that her Ash is gone forever. She said these words out loud as if it were a one last try: "Please don't go! Come back to me, ASH!"
