[The Indigo Plateau, Venue for the Pokemon Showcase]
[Over at the Team Rocket Trio & Calem]
The trio and Calem were around a grassy patch near the Venue of the Pokemon Showcase.
"Give it up for da next Kanto Queen! Jessilee!" Meowth said as him and James threw rose petals on Jessie, who was standing and doing poses of pride, wearing a skin-tight purple-colored outfit.
"It is definitely me! I was destined to be Kanto Queen!" Jessie said.
"Yay! All hail the Queen!" James and Meowth said as they kept throwing rose petals from two boxes they were holding.
"This is getting real tiring now--- don't you think, Meowth?" James asked Meowth while wiping his sweat.

"Yeah--- but dere's nothin' we can do other' den' playin' along till da whole thin' blows over. Den' she'll be back to her senses." Meowth replied, with his arms dropped low.
Calem was sitting under a tree nearby, looking at the sunset while thinking about his life choices. He then turned towards his employees, looking at their weird actions. "I don't even wanna know how much you guys spent on those rose petals" Calem said.
"Uh--- let's see--- one--four-- uh--- never mind!" James said after thinking about the expenses for a bit.
"Is this what you guys usually did when you worked for Pops?" Calem asked in a calm manner, raising one eyebrow.
"Uh--- No, this is just for once---" Jessie said while sweat-dropping.
"Who do you think you're trying to fool here?" Calem said as he took out his PokeGear and showed pictures of Jessie taking part in all sorts of competitions over the years.
"I can see names like Jesselina, Jessica, Jesslana, Jessafana, Jessilina, and many many more" Calem said while reading the many alternate names of Jessie.
"Uh--" Jessie said while feeling that she was busted.
Calem looked on for a second or two, and his expression changed to blank. "Whatever. Have fun" Calem said as he got up and started walking away.
"Where to, Boss?" James asked.
"Trying to figure something out. Tell me when you guys are done with this showcase--- or whatever it's called." Calem said as he left.
"Weird--- even for the twerp boss. Don't you think?" James said to Meowth.
"Yeah-- you're right, Jimmy. Somethin' must be botherin' 'im" Meowth said while thinking deeply, rubbing his chin.
"Maybe because he lost his first Pokemon League?" Jessie said to James and Meowth.
"Yeah--- but the twerp's recovered from losin' every league all these years. He'll recover too" Meowth said while looking at the spot where Calem had left.
