Public Apology: It seems that I managed to publish the fact that 'Agent Ketchum, A.k.a Detective 'R' Riley is Ash's father. This is untrue, and was supposed to be edited out as I changed my mind before publishing that chapter (Chapter: Alolan sunset, Kantos Sunrise. First paragraph). 

Somehow, I published an older version of the chapter, where my final edits weren't applied. (I even replied to a comment on that exact paragraph, yet didn't notice my HUGE error somehow. FML)

I'm terribly sorry. I've edited the mistake already, and I'll try to triple-check before clicking the publish button from now on. I hope you'll forgive me if this ruins/ruined some parts of the story for you.  

TL;DR: Detective R =/= Ash's father. He is a Ketchum, and thus related to Ash. But he isn't his father.

[Over at Calem]

Calem was standing at the counter in the Pokemon Center, waiting for Nurse Joy. 

Soon, Nurse Joy came and brought a small box with her. "Here you go, Calem" Nurse joy said, as she handed Calem the box.

"Any idea who sent it?" Calem asked Nurse Joy, looking at the box.

"The sender wished to remain anonymous, so I can't help you with that" Nurse Joy said.

"'Kay---" Calem said, as he took the box and headed back to the suite.

Time Skip: Calem enters the suite.

Calem looked around, and spotted Jessie and James in the bed, still sleeping while being naked. 

"Pathetic---" Calem said, looking at the two. "wonder what's inside the box" He said to himself, as he sat down on a chair and opened up the box. The box had three Pokeballs, One Luxury Ball, and a note.

"Huh?" Calem said as he opened the note.

Note: "Lusamine is starting to test other storage Pokemon on a weird machine. I wanted you to take these innocent Pokemon and give them to agents Jessie and James. They belong to them. -Team Rocket Grunt"

"Hmm--- weird for them to get Pokemon." Calem said as he took out the Luxury ball and threw it in the air, releasing the Pokemon inside.

"KyuH!" Mimikyu exclaimed as it came out of the Luxury ball.

"Huh? What's that thing?" Calem said to himself, as he looked at the weird cloaked Pokemon walk around, looking at stuff as it pleased.

Calem quickly called back the Pokemon in it's Luxury Ball. "Weird Pokemon" Calem said to himself, putting it back in the box. He then placed the box on a table next to the two sleepers, before heading out again.

*A few moments later*

James moved a bit, as he woke up from his deep sleep. He looked around, and suddenly noticed Jessie's arm on top of him. His face turned as red as a tomato at that point, as he looked at Jessie who was is a deep sleep right next to him.

Suddenly, Meowth came out of the Pokemon room. "Rise 'n shine, Jimmy---" Meowth said to James.

"Meowth! What happened here? where are my clothes?!" James asked Meowth, looking at his own body under the covers.

"Here ya go, Jimmy" Meowth said as he took out a basket from under the bed. "Dry cleanin' and everything. They cleaned the 'stuff' too!" He added, giving James his uniform.

"what do you mean by the 'stuff' ?" James asked, as he took his uniform.

"You and Jessie were drunk last night. The last thin' I remember was Jessie sayin' she wanted you to leave it in because it feels 'natural'--- whatever dat means---" Meowth said.
