Y/N's favorite pastime had to be hanging out with Slater and Michaels. They met at a party that Y/N's friends had brought her to and the two officers were sent to shut the party down. She had told them that she call the cops because the party was lame and needed some excitement.

After that, Y/N started hanging out with them and she learned real quick that they are a lot of fun. They may not have been good at their jobs, but they know how to have a fucking good time.

Slater had called Y/N and asked if she wanted to meet them at a local coffee shop. Of course, she said yes because who could turn them down.

She had arrived before the pair and decided to wait on them before ordering. She looked up from her phone when she heard Slater's voice. She walked over to them and Slater pulled her into a big hug. When he let her go, she noticed that she was blushing. Yes, she had a crush on Slater, but what does it matter? It's just a crush, no big deal.

The three walk up to the counter and Y/N offers to buy Slater's coffee. He kindly refused, but she didn't take no for an answer.

"You didn't have to buy my coffee Y/N. I could have paid for it myself."
"It's okay. I just felt like doing something nice."

The blush had returned to her face as Michaels had angrily sat down in front of them.

"What's a matter with you?"
"Why the hell did you offer buy his coffee and not even think about buying mine?"
"Last time I checked, you were a major asshole."
Oh, come on Y/N! You can't still be mad about me kicking your ass at drunk cup pong."

Slater nudged Y/N's arm and winked at her. Her blush returning lightly.

"Y/N did deserve to win."
"Slater what the fuck? I won fair and square."
"Not technically. You bumped the table when she took her last shot at your cups."
"No I didn't and how would you remember? We we're all drunk."
"I may have been drunk, but I wasn't 'forget that I saw Michaels cheating at cup pong' drunk."

Y/N looked over at Slater and place a kissed on his cheek. Her blush had fully returned and she noticed that he was blushing too.

"I finally have it figure out."
"Have what figured out Michaels?"
"Y/N is always says and does nice things for you because she has a crush on you."

Y/N looked at Michaels with surprised look. How the hell did he figure it out.

"What? I totally, absolutely, one hundred percent do not have a crush on Slater. We're just good friends is all."

She lied and she could tell that Michaels wasn't buying her lies. She looked over at Slater unable to read his facial expression.

Y/N abruptly stood up and walked out of the coffee shop. Before she could get to far, she felt a hand touch her shoulder. When she turned around, she was met face to face with her crush, Slater.

"Why did you get up and leave in a hurry?"
"I forgot I had something to do."
"I can tell when you're lying Y/N. If you left because of what Michaels said, then don't worry about it. I totally do not have a crush on you."
"I left because he was right. I do have a crush on you, but I was to scared to tell you about it. I know you just that you don't have a crush on me so-"

Slater cutter off with a kiss to her lips. She was shocked at first, then eased into the kiss wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to do that."
"I feel that same way."

They walked hand in hand back to the coffee shop and rejoined Michaels. When they say down, Slater wrapped an arm around Y/N and smiled widely.

"See! I fucking knew you two liked each other."
"Yeah, for once you were actually right about something Michaels."

Slater looked over at Y/N and kissed her again. He knew then that what they had was more that just a crush.
