Don't Worry, They'll Love You (Bill Hader)

Y/N and Bill had been together for a little over six months. Before they had gotten together, they were married and had kids. Y/N had already had the pleasure of meeting the H's, and it had went amazingly. Now, it was time for Bill to meet her kids.

Bill stood nervously in Y/N's kitchen, pacing as she was cooking dinner waiting for her ex to drop her kids off. She looked over her shoulder at him and chuckled.

"Are you okay over there?"
"Huh, what? Y-yeah I'm fine."
"You don't look fine."
"What makes you say that?"
"Well, you're pacing, sweating, and mumbling to yourself."
"I guess I'm just nervous."

Y/N has three kids also, but get this, they were all boys. So, of course, Bill was nervous. He didn't know anything about raising boys. He has three girls, and girls are very different from boys.

Y/N turned the stove off and walked over to him. She put her arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. She moved her hands to cup him face, and she pulled him into a reassuring kiss. She pulled away and looked up at him.

"Don't worry, they'll love you."
"You really think so?"
"Yeah, I really do because I know that you love me and they'll see it too."

Bill leaned down to capture her lips into another kiss. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pinned her against the counter. He slid his tongue across her bottom lip, and she pushed him back at bit.

"As much as I enjoyed that, let's not forget the reason why you're here."
"Oh, yeah. Right, I'm sorry."
"No, don't apologize. If the boys weren't coming over, I wouldn't have stopped you."

She leaned up to kiss him again, but before she could, the door bell rang. She smiled at Bill and he smiled back.

"You ready?"
"As I'll ever be I guess."
"Go wait in the living room, and I'll be there in a minute."

Bill nodded and made his way to her living room as she went to answer the door. When she open the door, she was greeted with hugs and 'I missed you's. She thanked her ex for dropping them off and closed the door.

Y/N walked her sons to the living room. As they entered the room, they saw Bill sitting on the couch. He stood as soon as he saw them come into the room.

"Okay boys, I have someone really important for all of you to meet. This is Bill."

Bill walked over to them and stood in front of them as Y/N introduced him to her sons.

"Bill, this is Trail. He is ten years old."

Y/N pointed to her oldest son then pointed to her middle son.

"This is Miles, and he is six. This little one right here is Waylon, and he is three."

Bill stood there silently as Y/N introduced her sons. Trail stuck his hand out, and Bill shook it. The smaller boy's followed in the brother's footsteps.

"It's very nice to meet all of you. Your mom talks about you all the time."
"So, are you my mama's boyfriend?"

Y/N's eyes widened as her oldest son questioned her boyfriend. Bill gulped and looked at Trail. He bent down so the boys could see him eye to eye.

"Yes, I am your mom's boyfriend. I care a lot about your mom and if it's okay with you guys, I'd like to continue to be her boyfriend."

Y/N stared in awe as Bill had this serious interact with her sons. The boys looked at Bill then at each other.

"We'll let you be our mama's boyfriend in one condition."
"Alright, I'm all ears. Lay it on me, Trail."
"Do your Jabba the Hut impression, and if we like it, you can stay our mama's boyfriend."

Bill looked each of the boys in the eyes them up at Y/N. He looked back down at the, closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

As soon as he started his impression, all three of the boys started laughing uncontrollably. Bill looked up at Y/N and smiled. Y/N smiled widely back down at him.

"We like him mama. He can stay."
"Yeah, he can stay."

Y/N hugged her boys and smiled at them. The boys ran up to their rooms to put their things up before dinner. Bill walked over to Y/N and hugged her.

"See, I told you that they'd like you."
"Yeah, that was actually a very easy deal to do."
"Oh, did I forget to mention that they were Star Wars fans?"

Bill smiled and kissed Y/N on her lips. She hugged him tightly and sighed, relieved that her kids actually liked Bill.
