(Part 6 of Is The Baby Mine?)

Tonight was Richie's last show before he was taking a few months off. He decided that he wanted to take some time and spend it with Y/N before Finn was born, and he wanted spend some time with Finn when he was born.

When he told his agent that he was taking some time off, he wasn't happy, but he understood why Richie wanted to put a new tour on pause.

After some begging and promising foot rubs, Richie finally got Y/N to agree to go to his last show. It was at the venue where they met, and he wanted her there with him because he had a surprise for her.

They were sitting in Richie's dressing room before the show, and he thought Y/N looked absolutely gorgeous. She was on the phone with her parents who told her that they were in the audience. She had on a floor length dress that showed her baby bump off beautifully.

When she hung up the phone, Richie heaved himself off the couch and walked over to her. He placed his arms around her, hands landing on her lower back, and he leaned down and captured her lips is a gentle kiss. Richie pulled away from the kiss when he heard someone knock on his door.

"Come in."
"Hey, Mr. Tozier. You're on in five."

Richie nodded his head at the stage assistant, and he shut the door leaving Richie and Y/N alone again. He smiled at her as he moved his hands to her baby bump.

"I never get tired of feeling him kick."
"I do. He moves and kicks all the time. He's definitely your kid because you don't know how to be still either."

They shared a laugh, and he kissed her one more time before grabbing her hand. They walk hand in hand to the side of the stage where Richie would make his entrance. He looks around and frowns.

"Hey, can someone please get a chair for Y/N? I asked for one to be placed here and it's not here."

Suddenly, stage assistants are running around backstage looking for an unoccupied chair. A girl with blond hair, who looked like she was in college, quickly brought a chair to Richie and apologized for the miss understanding. Before Richie could speak to her, Y/N spoke to the girl

"It's perfectly okay. Everyone makes mistakes. You're doing a wonderful job."
"Thank you, Ms. Y/L/N."
"Oh, please. Just call me Y/N."

The girl smiled at her then turned and walked away. Y/N sat down in the chair and watched as Richie attempted to shake off his nerves. The announcer introduced him, and he leaned down and quickly kissed Y/N before walking out on stage.

Richie made joke after joke causing the audience to laugh and laugh. He occasionally glanced over at Y/N to see if she was laughing, and of course, she was laughing every time he looked at her.

Y/N loved watching Richie perform on stage. He looked so happy while he was on stage telling jokes. She smiled at him and rubbed her hand across her stomach.

Richie finished his last joke, and he began Y/N's surprise.

"At the moment, my life is pretty great. Seven, almost eight, months ago in this very building, I met the love of my life. Her name is Y/N, and guess what. We're also having a baby. Our son, Finn, is due on Halloween. That would crazy if he was actually born on Halloween. In all seriousness, I love Y/N and Finn so much."

Y/N began to tear up as she listened to Richie talk about her and their son.

"I'm genuinely so happy with my life at this very moment. I spent so many years being up happy, and Y/N and Finn, even though he isn't here yet, have helped me regain my happiness. I was gonna bring her out, but from right here, I can see her, and she's crying, so I'm not gonna ask her to come out her. You guys have been an amazing audience. Thank you. Good night."

Richie walked off stage and headed straight to Y/N. When he got close to her, she pulled him into a tight hug. He held her close as she cried into his neck. Y/N pulled back and looked into his eyes.

"I love you too, Richie. So much."

Richie leaned down to kiss her, but stopped when he heard someone call his name. He looked up and saw his agent walking towards them, ruining their little moment.

"Alright, Rich. That was an amazing show. Now, we need to go talk about some things."

Richie gave Y/N an apologetic look, and she smiled at him.

"Go ahead. I'll be here when you get done."

He smiled sadly at her and turned to walk away from her with his agent. Y/N wandered around a bit till she found the door that led to the seats of the theater. She opened the door and peaked her head, and she walked all the way in when she saw that it was empty.

She walked over to the second row and sat in the chair that was in the middle. This was where she was sitting when she saw Richie for the first time. He looked amazing up there, on stage, and Y/N closed her eyes and smiled at the memory.

"Well, I do have to say that you are still as beautiful as you were on the day we first met. No, definitely more beautiful."
"You were amazing tonight."

Richie smiled at her as he walked towards her. He stuck out his hands and helped her stand up. Once she was standing, Richie leaned down and placed a loving kiss on her lips. He pulled away and connected their foreheads.

"Come on. Let's go home."
"It's about time you said that."

Richie took Y/N's hand and lead her through the backstage area to grab their stuff from the dressing room. They walked out through the back entrance and got into his car. They drove back to their house with happy hearts that were full of love for each other and Finn.
