Peace And Quiet (Bill Hader)

Y/N and Bill had been dying to get a break. Between their busy work schedules and hectic kids, they were losing their minds. Don't get them wrong, they love their jobs and their kids, but they needed some time to themselves.

They had finally found a day where they both had no work to do, and the three H's were at their mother's. Bill had called the babysitter to come watch their other two children. He had planned an amazing, romantic afternoon for the both of them.

Bill got Y/N into the car and drove them to a secluded part of a near by park. He pulled out a gigantic blanket and laid it on the grass. He grabbed the picnic basket out of the basket that Y/N hadn't notice till now. He got everything situated then look at her with a huge smile on his face.

"Well, what do you think?"
"It's perfect, Bill."

She walked over to Bill and placed a sweet kiss on his lips. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her body closer to his, deepening the kiss they were sharing.

"If you think that we're gonna have sex in this public park, you better guess again."

Bill started laughing at Y/N's comment. He pulled away from her and dragged her into the blanket with him.

"That's why I married you."
"I'm serious, Bill. It's not happening."
"I didn't even say anything about it. You did."

Y/N rolled her eyes and playfully smiled at her husband. She grabbed the picnic basket, opening it to inspect the contents inside.

"Can we just eat the delicious food you packed in here."
"Yes, my beautiful and amazingly wonderful wife."

Y/N blushed at Bill's comment and watched as he pulled out a bottle of expensive champagne and two glasses. He carefully filled one glass and handed it to her, then he filled one for himself.

"Here's to me and you and a some peace and quiet. Our lives maybe be hectic, but I cherish these little moments I get to have with you. I love you, Y/N."
"I'll cheers to that, and I love you too, Bill."

They clinked their glasses together and took a drink of their champagne. Bill leaned over and placed adictivo kiss on her lips. He pulled away and started pulling their favorite snacks out of the basket.

They ate, drank, and laughed at pictures and videos of their kids. And now, they were lying on the blanket cuddled in each others' arms. Y/N was almost asleep when she felt Bill place a kiss on her forehead. She hummed and pulled herself closer to Bill.

"I love being wrapped in your arms."
"I wouldn't have it any other way, beautiful."

Bill looked at the time and sighed. It's was getting kind of late, and they had to get home because the H's were returning to his and Y/N's house tonight. They both sat up and began cleaning up their evidence of a perfect and peaceful afternoon.

They got themselves and their stuff back into the car, and Bill drove away. They had been driving for about ten minutes when Bill let out a sad sounding sigh.

"What's a matter, babe?"
"Nothing, it's just...I wish we could have more peaceful moments together."
"I love our crazy life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Sure, we're always busy with work and the kids, but that's what makes these little moments we spend together more special."

Y/N reached over and placed her hand on top of Bill's thigh. He grabbed her hand and laced his fingers through hers.

Bill loved the life they built together. He love Y/N and all five of his beautiful kids. He wouldn't want his life to be any other way.
