He's My Best Friend (Stefon)

Y/N didn't want to admit it out loud, but he was in love with his best friend. He and Stefon had known each other since they were teenagers. Stefon was the only person who supported him through his transition.

He wanted to be with Stefon, but he had a boyfriend. That made Y/N a little sad, but he never let his true emotions show. He loved Stefon, and he would always show him support.

Stefon had asked Y/N to join him on Weekend Update with his boyfriend, and he said yes, but he was nervous. He didn't really like the thought of being on live tv, and he definitely didn't want to meet Seth. He pushed his feelings to the side so that Stefon was happy.

On the day of the show, he stood back stage with Stefon was Seth began the Weekend Update segment. There was no denying it, Seth was hot, and Y/N was a little jealous that Seth ended up with Stefon.

Seth introduced Stefon, and he rolled out on stage and talked about his crazy clubs which were one hundred percent real. Stefon flirted with Seth a lot, and that made Y/N a little upset. He shook his feeling away as Stefon began to introduce him.

"Okay, so I have surprise for you. Today, I bought a guest with me. Come on out."

Y/N rolled hisself out in front of the camera, and he nerves began to eat at him even more than they already were. Y/N glanced over at Seth, and he had a disapproving look on his face.

"Uh, Stefon. Who is this?"
"This is Y/N. He's my best friend."
"You didn't tell me that your guest was a guy."
"Ooo, Seth Meyers. Are you jealous?"
"No, I have no reason to be jealous. It's not like you're my boyfriend."
"But, I could be."

Stefon made eyes at Seth, and a confused look came to Y/N's face. He nudged Stefon, and he whipped his head around to look at him. Y/N looked over at Seth.

"He told me that you two were dating."
"No, Stefon and I are not together. I have a girlfriend."

Y/N moved his gaze to Stefon, and Y/N wore a sad look.

"Why didn't you tell me the truth?"
"Y/N, why are you so upset?"
"I'm upset because I've been hiding my real feelings for you. I'm in love with you, Stefon, and I have been since I met you. I put my feelings aside because I wanted you to be happy."

Y/N slowly looked up and remembered where he was. His eyes went wide, and he stood up and ran off screen. Seth looked at Stefon as he watched Y/N run from them. Stefon looked over at Seth before he got up and ran after Y/N.

Y/N ran out the back door of the building and sat on the stairs. He pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a big drag. He blew the smoke out as the doors behind him burst open. He flicked the cigarette away, and he turned and saw Stefon standing behind. Y/N turned back around, and Stefon sat down beside him.

"Did you mean it?"
"Of course, I meant it, Stefon."
"I love you too."
"What?"

Y/N look up at Stefon and saw that he was already looking at him.

"I said 'I love you too' and I mean it. The flirting I do with Seth is harmless. He really does have a girlfriend.
"Then why did you call him your boyfriend?"
"I only did that so you realize that I was crazy about you, but now, I realize that was a stupid decision. The person I want to be with is you. Hey, look at me."

Y/N looked up at Stefon again, and he pulled him into a kiss, catching Y/N off guard. Y/N relaxed into the kiss and pulled Stefon a little closer to him, deepening the kiss. When the need for air became to great, they both pulled away, and Stefon connected their foreheads. They smiled at each other, and Y/N pulled Stefon into a hug.

Y/N was shocked, but super happy that Stefon felt the same way he did. He really loved him, and he didn't want to love anyone else. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with Stefon, and he hoped that Stefon felt that same. Little did he know that Stefon felt that exact some way.
