tired of missing you (meau)

Mitch answers the phone. "Hey, honey," he says, a grin forming on his face.

"Hey, sweetheart," Beau says, "Break a leg tonight, okay?"

Mitch feels tears in his eyes. "Thanks, Beau."

"Woah, is everything okay over there?" Beau asks, "Are you crying?"

"Yeah," Mitch admits, "I just...I miss you, baby. I wish you were here with us."

"Oh, Mitchy," Beau starts, "I wish I could be there more than anything, you know that."

"It's just hard without you here," Mitch says, "Kirstie has Ben here every show, Scott has Mark here every show, Kevin has Leigh here for the time being..."

"I was going to surprise you tonight, but it looks like you need it now more than anything," Beau says, in the doorway of the dressing room.

"Beau! Oh my god," Mitch all but runs to him, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend. "You're here," he says, his voice muffled in Beau's shirt.

"I'm here," Beau says. "I'm here for a week."

Mitch starts crying again. "I missed you so much."

Beau takes in Mitch's scent, feeling relaxed. "God, I missed you too."

Mitch's breathing evens out and he lets go of Beau, and grabs his hand. "I'm so happy you're here."

"Beau?" Matt peers into the dressing room, "I thought you weren't telling him you're here until after the show."

"Well, I called him like I always do before a show, and he started saying he misses me, and crying, and I couldn't help it but to come give him a hug," He laughs.

"And I'm all better now," Mitch smiles.

"Okay, that's actually really sweet," Matt says, "I'm happy to see y'all so happy."

"Thanks, Matt," Beau says, before Matt leaves. "Oh my god, are those braids in your hair?"

Mitch nods. "Yeah. Do you like them?"

"They look so goooood," Beau elongates the word, making Mitch laugh.

"Thanks for coming to see me, baby," Mitch says, "Means a lot to me. I missed you a ton."

"I missed you more," Beau says, "I love you so much," He leans down and kisses Mitch once.

Mitch is left giggly after their kiss. "One more?" He asks, and Beau complies. "I love you too."
