"Hey, handsome," Mark says, sitting on Scott's lap.

"You've had some drinks tonight, huh?" Scott asks. "Are you having fun, sweetheart?"

Mark nods, leaning into Scott. "Yeah. Thanks for taking me out tonight." He giggles. "I love you."

"I love you too." Scott kisses Mark's cheek. He smiles when Mark stands up and goes to grab another drink. Mark doesn't drink like this all of the time, so every once in a while he needs it.

Mark is paying for his drink when he overhears a conversation between Kirstin and a stranger.

"Hey, is your tall blonde friend single?"

"Oh, honey," Kirstin laughs, "He's gay, and taken."

"Ah, damn it. Oh well. At least he's happy."

"Yeah. Happiest he's ever been. Engaged, even."

Mark can't believe what he's hearing. Scott's engaged? He thought that they were doing great. Who was he engaged to?

He leaves the drink at the bar and goes and cries in the corner. Kirstin notices, mumbling an "Oh, shit," before she starts heading that direction when she feels a tap on her shoulder.

"Why is Mark crying?" Matt asks. "He looks really upset."

"I think...I think that he found out that Scott is engaged," Kirstin says.

"Okay...Scott is engaged....to Mark." Matt says.

"Yeah, Mark is just really drunk," Kirstin laughs. "Poor guy."

They watch as Scott heads over to ask what happened.

"Hey, angel, what happened?" Scott asks. "Is everything okay?"

"Don't call me that when you're engaged," Mark says, turning the other way.

"I'm, yeah, Mark, I'm engaged. To you. We're engaged."

Mark thinks about it for a moment and then laughs loudly. "How the fuck did I forget that?" He asks.

"You've had a lot to drink tonight is how," Scott says, wrapping an arm around Mark's waist. "You're so funny."

"I mean...yeah."

Scott laughs and kisses Mark's temple. "Go have some more fun, baby. I'll be over here when you're ready to leave."

Mark giggles and places a kiss on Scott's lips. "I love you."

"I love you too."
