everyone was at niall's new year's eve party, he was so fucking popular that literally everyone came and luke is a generally quiet guy so he kind of sneaks around everyone and he bumps into a guy with blue hair, and looking at him he could see his lips parting before he cleared his throat and blushed a little 'hey.' and luke smiled 'hey.' 'um, m michael.' 'luke.' and the two talk for the night and then everyone crowds into the three rooms with tvs to watch the new york ball drop, and they're counting down from five and michael glances at luke and when one hits michael ducks down and kisses luke softly, luke smiling into it while everyone cheered, but honestly they didn't hear anything.
