the good thing for michael about calum being a puppy hybrid is that he never had to worry about his trust, he was a fucking puppy who was loyal and he learned that the hard way when one day it was in the media that calum was cheating 'calum give it up!! you cheated on me!!' he yelled, continuing to pack his bag and calum is sobbing and whimpering and his ears are pressed flat against his hair 'm-michael please..i-i didn't c-cheat.' he sobbed, grabbing his ears 'p-please..don't leave m-me.' and michael is about to walk out when he stops in his tracks because calum is licking his cheek repeatedly and whimpering and then it occurred to him, calum was so loyal and protective that there was no way he cheated on him so he sighs, turning to him 'hey hey baby..' he moved away and looked at calum, whose eyes are that of a puppy's and his lip is quivering and his ears are twitching against his hair, and he clings to michael's body 'hey..i'm not leaving..you didn't cheat..' and calum nods vigorously and michael never questioned his loyalty again.
