luke ran out the door after his boyfriend, seeing his hand scratch at the back of his neck 'MICHAEL WAIT!!' and he grabbed his arm and when he turned him around, his eyes were filled 'i always knew it.' michael whispered, voice cracking, shaking his head at his boyfriend 'mike, please, it-it isn't like that--' but michael couldn't hear another lie so he shook his head 'i knew it was fake.' he chuckled, and the tears finally fell 'i knew it was too hard to believe, that the popular kid actually fucking liked that nerdy kid that sat alone, i was just worth $100.' he laughed, and luke looked down but then back up 'michael, i-i, it's changed now, it isn't like that now--' 'why? b-because i'm not a loner anymore? b-because i've changed in those two years?' and luke couldn't say anything and michael shook his head 'i hope it was worth it.' he whispered, walking away from luke's house and luke himself.
