what if shy little calum is only a sophomore in a junior english class because he's so smart but he's not nerdy, just a cute little fluffy boy in sweaters and they're learning poetry this week and he's actually enjoying it when he gets a little ball on his desk and looks at the blonde boy, luke, next to him, who smirks and points at the back of the room to michael clifford who's blushing and fumbling with his fingers and sneaking glances at calum so he opens it 'roses are red, my hair is blue, this poem sucks, but i like you.' and signed with his little initials so calum smiles and blushes, folding it and putting it away and michael is sitting in his seat when a note lands on his desk '111-111-1111 xx calum :)' and michael looks to see the fluffy boy blushing and smiling and they never threw out each other's notes.
