Your POV:

Today was the day.

Game day.

My favorite day. I'd be on the bench, with Sam. Morgan and Kelley were both starting.

We were on the pitch warming up.

"L/N." Kelley walked over.

"O'Hara."

"You don't like me do you?" She said.

"You're not a very likable person." I said getting the ball and sending it back to Morgan.

"You're not all flowers and rainbows either." She said sending the ball to Alex.

"Really?" I said. "I'm easier to talk to than you. All you do is insult. You think you're better than everyone else."

"Cause I am."

"Are you really? You better than Abby Wambach?" I said to her. "No you're not. That's why Jill moved your ass to the backline."

"I still have a better chance of going to Canada than you ever will." She got in my face. "Don't test me."

"Hey!" Dawn ran over. "Break it up you two. You're supposed to be teammates."

"I'm a team player." I said. "Kelley's all about herself." I walked away and over to Morgan.

"Damn we got some rookie drama." Megan said.

"Shut up." I grabbed a water bottle.

"Look." Christen walked over. "She's a pain. I know. You want to punch. I did too." I smiled. "But don't let her get into your head. The only thing standing between a roster spot is you. If you continue to let her get to you, you won't make it. She's trying to get you to mess up. Don't let her do that."

"Why would she do that? Does she not know what a team is?"

"No. Like I said. She can score goals. People think she's good. It got to her head. The only thing that matters to Kelley O'Hara. Is Kelley O'Hara." She said and walked away.

I looked at the converted outside back talking with Hope Solo and sighed. "Come on. You gotta focus." Sydney said.

We got to work and walked back into the locker room for game time.

Christen's words stuck in my head.

The only thing that matters to Kelley O'Hara.

Is Kelley O'Hara.
