Your POV:

After beating Puerto Rico 10-0, we got ready for the semifinals.

We traveled to Houston. "I am home!" Morgan said. "Dash on."

"Red Stars are where it's at." Julie said. "Back me up!" She looked at me, Alyssa and Press.

"I don't know her."

"Come on!" She said. "Back your team."

"Breakers are the best." Steph said. Everyone stared at her. "Yeah never mind."

We got the BBVA and got to work. The team was looking good.

"Go best friend that's my best friend!" Morgan yelled as Kling defended Alex.

"You two are adorable." Sam teased.

"Not as adorable as us!" Julie wrapped her arms around Morgan.

"I need a friend like that." I said.

"You need friends. Period."

"You know what, Steph. Shut up."

"Yeah. She has me." Kelley smiled. "Sup best friend."

I laughed. "What's good best friend."

"Are they gonna start punching each other?" I heard Julie say.

"I don't know but be ready to break it up." Morgan added.

After our hard work and weird conversations, we got settled in the hotel and relaxed. Me and Kelley were roommates.

"Remember when I wasn't starting? Now I am."

"Remember the last time I played a full 90? Me neither."

She laughed. "When's preseason start?"

"March." I said. "Gonna go home first. My brother has a big game, wants me there." I said. "Then heading back to Chicago."

"That's fun. How old are your siblings?" She asked.

"17, 15, 13, 10 and 8." I said.

"Damn."

"4 brothers. 1 sister."

"And you're the oldest?"

"I am the oldest." I nodded. "The 2 youngest are my half brothers." I said. "They're cool though. Both play hockey and soccer."

"What about the rest of them?"

"Ethan and Chloe play soccer. Gabe is the different one. He plays football." Kelley laughed.

"It's cool. Athletic family." She said. "The 17 year old. He thinking about college?"

"Yeah. Ethan." I nodded. "Going to UCLA."

"Oh maybe he'll meet Mal." She said. We went down to meet the team, continuing to talk about our families.

"And then Erin started crying." She laughed. "Full tears. Jerry was in total shock and I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard. It was hysterical."

"That's crazy."

"I know." We sat and waited for Jill to start talking. "Best day ever."

Everyone came in and sat down. Jill stood in front of us.

"Ok ladies. Next up. Trinidad & Tobago."
