Your POV:

I walked out of my hotel to get coffee. Headphones in, music on.

After ordering my coffee and getting it I sat and just relaxed.

I looked at my phone, checking emails when I saw the seat in front of me move.

Kelley.

I took my headphones off.

"Hey." She sat down.

"Hi." I said.

"You didn't come last night."

"It was family time." I said. "I'm happy for you."

She looked at me.

"Your goal. That was badass." She laughed. "What was that? Are you secretly a ninja O'Hara?"

"Yeah. You figured it out. My secret is ruined."

I laughed.

"There is something I've been meaning to tell you." She said and taking taking a deep breath."I-"

"Kel." A girl walked over to us. "I told you to wait for me. Damn girl." She kissed her cheek and sat down.

"This is Ann." Kelley said. "My girlfriend." She looked at me.

"Nice to meet you." I said. "I have to get back to my hotel. My dad's probably wondering where I am. It was nice meeting you Ann. Good luck on Sunday Kelley." I said walking away.

I walked to my hotel fighting back the tears.

She's a player. She'll always be a player. It was never real.

I was stupid for thinking I had a chance with that girl.

I'm bored

I read Christen's text.

I need a friend

Come see me

I went to see her. "You gonna tell me what happened or are you just gonna sit there?" I glared at her. "I can't be a friend if I don't know what's going on." She said. "Is it Kelley?"

I looked away. "What'd she do? Did she finally tell you the truth?"

"Yeah."

"Then why are you sad? I'd be happy!"

"Why would you be happy?"

"Cause now you know the truth and you can get life started!"

I stared at her.
