"Another substitution for the US. Y/N L/N is down by the 4th official. The 22 year old striker from Santa Clara. Having a great season there so far. Looks like she will be replacing Sydney Leroux."

"Santa Clara replacing UCLA? Interesting."

"Solo will pass it to O'Hara. O'Hara now with the ball. Up to Holiday who will hold it. Now Brian, up to Wambach. Wambach over to O'Reilly, O'Reilly with the cross! L/N!" The fans jumped up. "OH! Just over the crossbar! A fantastic cross from O'Reilly and great effort from the rookie." 

Your POV:

"Damn." I watched the ball of over the crossbar. I gave Heather a thumbs up. That cross was beautiful, and ran back towards midfield. 

"Nice miss L/N."

"Shut it O'Hara." Wambach said. I smiled. "She has more shots than you do."

Kelley rolled her eyes and ran back to defend. Abby slapped my back. "Ow." I said.

"That was a nice header." She said. "Not bad for your first touch."

"Thanks." I said watching Morgan come towards us with the ball. I ran towards goal and watching Morgan pass it to HAO again. 

She sent in another cross that hit Abby's head. The keeper pushed it away from goal and I ran towards the ball. 

"SHOOT IT!" I heard Lauren yelled. I shot it and it went past the keeper and hit the back of the net. 

"HOLY SHIT!" I ran to Lauren and jumped on her. She caught me, like she catches everyone. The team ran around and jumped on us.

"USA GOAL!!!!!" The fans screamed. "Goal scored by #25 Y/N L/N assisted by #20 Abby Wambach!" The fans got louder. "That's a goal by L/N assisted by Wambach in the 86th minute." 

Abby rubbed my shoulders. "You got this kid." She said. "You got this."

I ran and took my spot. "Not bad L/N." I looked at Kelley. "Good goal."

"Thanks O'Hara."

First cap. First goal.
