June. 

We would be heading to Norway for a match then going back to our NWSL teams. 

Everyone got together for camp in the US. 

"Y/N!" Ash yelled.

"ASH!" I ran to her. I jumped on her.

"Reunited and it feels so good." She sang.

Everyone laughed.

"How're the ribs?" Cheney asked.

"I feel great." I smiled.

"Still sore?"

"It's so bad." I fake cried.

"We'll get you checked out."

"If it still hurts, why haven't you sat out for KC?" Ali asked.

"And miss playing with legends?" She smiled. 

"I missed you." She hugged me.

"OH MY GOD! KRIEGS IS HUGGING SOMEONE OTHER THAN ASHLYN!" Kling fell to the ground.

"CPR!" Pinoe screamed.

"Why do I call up you two idiots?" Cheney asked.

"Because it wouldn't be a gals camp without the OG gal." Pinoe said. "You could do without her. Adding an H to the name."

"Ok losers. Get running." Cheney shook her head. "Except for you." She grabbed me. "Go get checked out, please."

Kelley's POV:

I watched Y/N walk away. "Guys I gotta an idea."

"No Kelley. We aren't going skinnydipping." 

"That wasn't my idea?"

"We aren't sacrificing Mal."

"WHAT?!" Mal yelled.

"Can you guys just listen to my idea? Please?"

"Go Kel." JJ said.

"Thanks, JJ." I reached into my jacket pocket. 

"Is that?"

"The ring? Yes."

"What are you planning O'Hara?"

"When we go to Europe." I said. "I'm popping the question in Europe." 

"Why Europe? Why not here or something?"

"Y/N told me she likes Europe." I shrugged. "Before we went on our trip to Cancun I was thinking about taking her on a trip to Europe and proposing. I feel like what happened was the universe telling me that I should've gone with my original idea and not some half-assed plan." I said.

"The universe was like "that first proposal was shit! DO IT AGAIN!" and here we are." Kling said.

"Y/N's coming." Tobin said quickly.

We stopped talking. She joined us.

"You get checked out?" Amy asked.

"Yes, and I'm fine."

"Then why are you still sore?" Sydney asked. Everyone got quiet. "Jesus Christ Kelley."

Your POV:

We were in Norway. 

"10 bucks Trump doesn't let us back in the country." Pinoe said.

"Hey, you guys were all born in America." Sydney said. "Some of us were born in Canada."

"Who's fault is that?" 

"Shut up Kling." 

Cheney was talking to some coaches. "Y/N." I walked over. "Sunil wants you to leave earlier than everyone else. Talk about your youth camp."

"Got it." I said. "I'll be ready." I walked away. 

"What was that about?" Christen asked.

"Leaving earlier than you guys." 

"WHY!" Morgan yelled.

"Moe. Relax." Tobin said.

"Have a meeting." I said. "Relax guys everything is fine." 

Kelley' POV:

Morgan and Y/N walked away. 

"If she leaves early when are you gonna pop the question?" Ash asked.

"Sooner than I thought" I said. 

It was 2 days before gameday. We had a day off. 

I told everyone what the plan was, keep Y/N distracted until I told them when it was ready.

"Ok. You guys know your jobs, let's get to work!" Cheney said. We all looked at her. "I was your friend before I was your coach." 

We all shrugged and got to work.

"How's it coming?" Ash asked. 

"Throw up the rope!" Tobin yelled. Ashlyn threw it to her. 

"Kling other side good?" Christen asked.

"ALL GOOD!" 

"Alright pull them up!" Sydney said. 

They pulled up the two things of balloons. 

"Ok so when I start my speech, let down the balloons." I said.

"We know the drill Kel." Alex said. 

"Yeah, and we'll all walk out." Pinoe said. 

"We got this under control Kel. You have the hardest part of all."

"Yeah." Kling said climbing down. "The hardest part. Asking a question."

"Do you not understand proposing?" Ashlyn asked.

"I get it I just don't get why people get all worked up over it."

They started arguing. Tobin put her hand on my shoulder. "She said yes the first time, and this looks way more planned out than a beach in Cancun." Tobin smiled. 

"Thanks, Tobs."

Your POV:

"Can we go back now? I'm tired." I sighed.

"Why are you so tired?"

"Couldn't sleep."

"Why not?"

"Chloe texted me about my mom. She said something seems off about her new boyfriend. I was up all night worrying about her, my siblings."

"What does she mean off?" Ali asked.

"She said that she'll come home or go downstairs and he'll be talking to my mom, but when he realizes Chloe's there he stops and then leaves. She also said my mom's been acting weird too. She takes longer shifts at work, isn't home that much." 

"That's weird."

"I know. She was always home. She took extra shifts if I was around or Ethan. It's just Gabe and Chloe now, why isn't she home?"

"Are they staying with your dad?"

"He goes over to check in and stay with them. I gotta talk to her." Sydney looked at her phone. "So can we please go back now?"

"Yeah." Sydney said. "We can head back."
